Sounds Like
the music they use on nature programmes when a praying mantis smashes its mate's skull and eats it.
The KJA Lifestyle is breath of tiger, is thunder and lightning, is diving board, is giant statue, is tiny mountain, is bigger band. Sometimes a good idea is like a bottle of fine wine. Sometimes a bottle of good wine is a fine idea. It's taking its time but it's coming. The new album that is. We are excited.
The last album, Unclever, is available from the label hhbtm at hhbtm.com (that's best if you're in the USA) and from this very webpage - look left - for £5. It was recorded in Athens GA USA by Jason NeSmith, who also bashed drums. Kay Stanton sometimes played the bass. Ant Chapman did the final mix in the UK. The album before, Pip, came out on HHBTM in the USA - and Waikiki Records in Japan. The first album, Sunshine Loft, came out in the US on DCBaltimore 2012 records in 2003.
Monkey seems to be Looking Around The Planet to a shortened version of the song of the same name from the album Unclever.
Video for Other Side of the Road from Unclever. Director Josephine Lewis shot the whole thing on a mobile phone in London and Athens Georgia USA - it's four continuous shots - you sort of self edit as you watch it - so it bears several views. Jason and Kay of Casper and the Cookies are the backing band in the bottom left hand corner.

Here's a video of KJA singing a japanese song with toy piano in Japan in 2006 during his tour with the band Elekibass. Translation something like "i broke my hand - i broke my hand - and now my life is different - i broke my leg - i broke my leg - and now my life is different - i broke my head - i broke my head - and now my life is different."

I'm happy to announce that my new album "Songs From The Films Of David Lynch" is out now.
"Truly unsettling and perplexingly brilliant... testament to both the quality of Lynch’s soundtracks and Truax’s talents" - The Skinny
"Truax is paying homage to a kindred spirit with this album. It's the best kind of tribute – affectionate and respectful, but with its own quirks and imaginative leaps and its own distinct identity." -The Scotsman
hi adams just dropping by to tell you that I am still in love with your music! and by the way, I finally uploaded the full 10 songs, so there is plenty of new material... yours Tom

Keith you missed a great gig last weekend, possibly our best yet in terms of crowd reaction. Next one is at the Dublin Castle on Saturday 28th March. Are you free?
Thanks very much for the add. I stole your CD from my husband and I'm not giving it back. So he'll just have to buy another one! Thanks again and cheers. -Amanda Lynn gwinnup
man, the video was a big hit! heres some footage that showed up on youtube. its neat cause you get to hear the audience react. i read in some review of our set, "i almost believed adams when he called them his favorite band."
