About me:

I'm an environmental consultant living in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles. Having a good time while protecting mankind and the environment by day, and womankind by night. I've been accused of being laid-back, having no hang-ups, and using hyphens way too often. My creed is kindness. A little difficult at times in a burg like LA, but not yet having found the true meaning of life, kindness works just fine for me. You get out of life what you put into it. Love: Is it merely a biological, chemical reaction, similar to what happens when you eat chocolate? Or is it something you find with your true "Soul Mate"? Do you have only one true soul mate, and it is your destiny to be together? What if your true soul mate lives in Outer Slobovia, and he/she doesn't have plane fare? Should one give love "unconditionally"? Go ahead, try it sometime. Hopefully you will give your heart to someone who won't treat it like a used paper towel. It's probably good experience to be hurt sometime anyway, unless it leaves you jaded. Remember, just because your last lover might have been a heartless, self-centered (this word cencored for your innocent relation's protection), it does not mean you have to dump that baggage onto your next lover. Here's my opinion: Love solves nothing. It is merely the motivation to make a relationship work. If there is anything better than love, I haven't found it yet. And, like I said before, you get out of life what you put into it.
