Who is Kenya? Kenya is a myriad of things. Simply complicated. A possessor of perfect imperfections. Lover of life, lover of love, and lover of joy. I've come to find that if you keep God close, all of these things are easily attainable.
Born and raised in Inglewood/Los Angeles, California and a 2003 graduate of Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies (LACES). I studied Radio/TV/Film and Theater Arts at Howard University, and it is there that I grew into the understanding of what it meant to be a woman (and still learning lol). I am a poet, a beauty editor, a producer, an event planner, a banker, an actress, a community activist, a make up artist, a comedian, a music lover & closet singer, a motivator, a self proclaimed fashionista, a pessimist at times, an insomniac, a hopeful romantic, and most importantly...A SURVIVOR. I am all of these things and so much more; A multi-layered & multi-faceted human being who is forever learning & growing.
The road hasn't been easy, but I am thankful for it all...burdens, as well as blessings. I have a testimony that rivals any bestseller or Oscar nominated film, but I wouldn't change a single piece to the puzzle of my life. Humble beginnings in a small duplex on Crenshaw Blvd, conservative COGIC (Church of God in Christ)upbringing, a mother stronger than the great wall of China, and a family bigger than it lol. I shall never forget my roots. I am in constant contemplation of where i've been, where I am, and where I'm going.

Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone with a good heart, positive spirit, and cool personality. Wouldn't mind meeting my future husband one of these days either. Geeez, what's taking that man so darn long?
