KEROBIA has a new album titled Materia organikoa eta gainerakoak (Organic matter and rest,
as it is said in the trash containers of our town Pamplona), which has been presented to public on
29 April 2008. This work is the first chapter of a trilogy that will be ended in a year an a half. It's
a selfproduction
and has been published under a Creative Commons license with noncommertial
purposes. Since the importance internet has today, together with the album we
launch this renewed web page (www.kerobia.com) where you can download the whole album and different material
published regularly. We also offer you the videoclip of the song Asteroideen antzokian artista
eraila (Artist killing in the theatre of asteroids).
Kerobia is a band formed by Xabi Fernandez (guitar and vocals), Mikel Zorrilla (drums), Alberto Isaba (bass) and Mikel Isaba (keyboards).
This group from Iruña was created in the last month of 2001 when Xabi, Mikel and Germán San Martín (former keyboardist) put together. They worked as a three-people band until January 2003 when Karlos Ortiz joined the band as a bass player. With this formation they published their first album: Kerobia (2004, GOR). After the album's presentation tour, in December 2005 they started to work in their second album and Karlos Ortiz left the band, being replaced by Alberto Isaba on the bass guitar.
With this new formation the second album was published: Rose Escargot (2006, GOR). After beeing on stages until the end of 2007 Germán left the group and Mikel Isaba joined at the keys.
In April 2008 their third work will be published: Materia organikoa eta gainerakoak (2008, Self production). This album is just the first part of a trilogy that will be published in a year and a half. This way the second part is waited for February 2009 and the third one for October 2009.
