As the first release for 2008, I Records & Kevin Yost deliver the 3rd issue in the “The Jazz Influence” series. This highly successful concept has become a calling card for Yost and has featured some the label’s most sophisticated music in the past years. The tracking listing here features the long awaited Guy Monk single “More of You” and new Yost material including “Jazz Is” & “Intervention of One”. In addition new artists have been enlisted to give this release a distinctly more experimental vibe than the previous two.
Kevin Yost presents the second compilation dedicated to the Jazz & Electronic music fusion. For this release he once again gathered a select group of musicians & artists to develop recordings that highlight the "Jazz Influence". Included are Guy Monk, The Cool Balance, Black Fuse, Manuel Diaz Grey and of course Kevin himself. All helping pickup where the last compilation left off. This newest i! Records compilation features 12 brand new unreleased tracks and over 70 minutes of true artistry.
Kevin Yost proudly presents his first compilation dedicated to his true love & passion, Jazz Music.
