...a combination of our influences all jostling for position in a song!
We are an Anglo - American band based in the Midlands.
It’s always good news when a band you’ve liked for a while manage to defy the credit crunch and somehow find the time, energy and cash to put together an altogether decent alt-pop treat of a mini-album.
potent melodic shapes with bounding basslines, riotous percussion and playfully discordant boy/girl vocals. Showcasing a wealth of diversity CLICK TO READ FULL REVIEW FROM ROCKSOUND MAGAZINE
This seven tracker titled The Great Outdoors kicks off with the title track and a song that could give Foals a real run for their money with it’s bassline and indie funk.
I couldn’t find a negative anywhere on this album, a very solid release and i’m looking forward to hearing a lot more from this Midlands quartet.

Listen to enough bands and you get a feeling for those groups that aren’t ever really going to make it and those that seem almost destined for far bigger things. Anglo-American quartet Kidnapper Bell are so firmly in the latter camp that they can probably feel the big-time breathing down their necks right now. The originality of the structure replicates most of the EP's other tracks and Kidnapper Bell's main point of persuasion is most definitely there ability to merge the standard with the oblique. A promising release that could sit well with the collective of solely underground music fans and also the mass populous of Radio 1 listeners just as easily.

Anglo - American quartet Kidnapper Bell dips into all sorts of genres, Math rock, Emo, and electronic.
The band proves so versatile that I could swear I even hear some a capella influenced vocal percussion
