Movies
MOVIES I'VE SEEN RECENTLY:
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Grade: C+
Love Harrison. Love Shia. Hate slow "action" movies
Sex and the City
Grade: A-
The ladies can do no wrong.
21
Grade: D
The first thing we learn in writing is "show, don't tell." This movie failed on that completely.
27 Dresses
Grade: B-
Predictable and only kind of funny. But extra points for giving James Marsden the lead romantic role!!! Sigh . . .
August Rush
Grade: B+
The music was incredible. Keri Russell and Jonathan Rhys Myers are beautiful. Robin Williams was a tad scary.
Enchanted
Grade: A-
Kind of predictable, but it gets bumped from a B+ to an A- for putting James Marsden in tights and singing. :)
Bee Movie
Grade: A-
I love cartoons, okay? I'm adult who loves cartoons. And this one was particularly funny.
The Jane Austen Book Club
Grade: B+
A movie based on a book about a bunch of women (and one guy) who read my favorite books of all time? Hello? I loved it!
Sydney White
Grade: B-
Amanda Bynes rules, but they didn't use her hilarity to its fullest. The "seven dorks," however, were too funny.
Becoming Jane
Grade: B-
I ♥ Anne Hatahway, but I ♥ Jane Austen more, and this didn't do her justice

My name is Kieran Scott and I'm a Young Adult novelist. Right now I'm BEYOND psyched because I love the cover for my next book, GEEK MAGNET! Check it out! It will be in stores in MAY 2008!
Everyone loves KJ Miller. Especially the geeks.
KJ is like the geek Pied Piper of Washington High, drawing every socially cluelss guy in a five-mile radius. If only Cameron Richardson, the star of the basketball team, would follow her around and worship her the way her dorky entourage does. Enter Tama Gold, queen of the popular crowd and solution to KJ's problems. The nice girl never gets the guy, and Tama is ready to help KJ ditch "nice" and get cruel. GEEK MAGNET
Coming to a store near you in May, 2008!
My other hardcover novels include the Christmas comedy Jingle Boy and the competitive cheerleading/fish-out-of-water novels I Was a Non-Blonde Cheerleader, Brunettes Strike Back and A Non-Blonde Cheerleader in Love.

Hi Keiran! I love all of your books, especially I was a non blonde cheeleader, its excellent. Will their be a 4th one? Also very excited fro Geek Magnet, it looks like a fun book!
Kudos on the forthcoming release! I can't wait to put GEEK MAGNET in the hands of readers, especially my frequent customer who is a stage manager and a senior in high school. She's going to love it.
I LOVE all of your books. Especially "I was a non blonde cheerleader" series. I was wandering if you were going to write a 4th novel? Thanks for adding me also! Your great!
Kieran, Last february vacation, i meant to write you. I was sitting home one night & i decided to read some more of she was a non-blonde cheerleader. I, just like annisa just transferred to a different school. I literally didn't put the book down. My parents were SOO surprised because i usually don't read. The next day i went to the book store and picked up the next 2 series. Honestly, your books were the best books i have ever read. I felt lost when i finished your last book (i finished the other 2 books in one day). I felt like i wanted my own daniel sooo bad. Hahaha. Well i just wanted to tell you that your books are AMAZING! & hopefully with time there will be another series because i literally wanted to cry when i was done with the last book! Best of luck, Gianarose.
Hi Kieran! I, in fact, WAS a non-blonde cheerleader. Great to see you representing us. :) I'll keep you posted when my new series launches in September!
