  • Bio

The five guys that make up KILLCODE didn't have to rise from ashes or go through some spiritual quest to find themselves where they are today, it just happened. Collectively, they have sold tens of thousands of records and toured the world with separate bands sometimes sharing the stage with each other, not to mention some of music's royalty. 2009 found guitarist Chas and vocalist Tom Morrissey laying down the building blocks of what was undeniably kick ass, rock & roll that could not be ignored. They approached Erric Bonesmith about checking out the songs and seeing if he might dig throwing down some bass. He dug it,and he did. Next they set their sites on a drummer and after several auditions by drummers from all over the United States, they found Rob Noxious who fit in from day one. Guitarist Pat Harrington was just getting off tour when he was approached to come jam. He did and KILLCODE was born! One of the things that was obvious from the start was the fact that the five guys had common musical ground but born from different genres and influences. It turns out those differences fueled the inspiration and helped create a heavy but melodic, dirty but polished, raw and emotional sound. In early 2009, KILLCODE released their debut EP, "To Die For" to great reviews and the :::KC::: machine has been steadily gaining ground. In 2010 after successfully completing an east coast run as main support for FUEL, they released a second EP "Taking It All" also to great reviews and managed to bring it to #27 on the FMQB charts and #32 on CMJ as well as picking up a good number of commercial spins. :::KC::: has also been headlining and selling out some considerable venues in NYC including the Mercury Lounge, Gramercy/Blender Theater and The Bowery Ballroom in NYC. KILLCODE is now in the process of recording their first Full length CD and will continue to tour and create new music, bringing their unique style of raw, New York City bred, rock to the masses.
