    FATES - MURKY CIRCUITS
    OUT NOW!

Fates release a series of recording sessions made at Harvestworks, the foundation co-founded by Bob Moog.

    PRESS REACTIONS

"Nebulous post-industrial soundscapes constantly tweaked and realigned to create one of the most original electronic records of the year to date. 4.5/5" - THE MILK FACTORY

"Literally one in a million; tweaking and meshing uncommon sounds to create one of the most original electronic pieces I have heard all year. Abstract art for the ears most certainly." - AW MUSIC

"A post-glitch triumph that goes by quickly but not without making one’s head spin." - CYCLIC DEFROST

"Murky Circuits sounds like a highly caffeinated robot took over a decrepit Radio Shack and had its way with anything it could grab." - CHUBBY JONES

    "Dizzying and compelling." - BRAINWASHED

  • Bio

KTL = a group of men with heads full of noise, heads full of sound, heads full of songs; 2 Montrealers and 1 New Brunswicker who start jamming in Toronto, 2004, who like stuff like My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Slowdive, Swervedriver, Talking Heads, The Smiths. KTL = a band who releases a first album, "Winter Asthmatics", on the cheap in 2005; a band who then adds two more Montrealers to become a 5-piece, a band who travels back and forth along the 401 for 2 years to play both scenes. KTL gets signed to MapleMusic and re-releases "Asthmatics" with overdubs. The result is "Buffalo of Love," an album that makes "best-of" lists in places as diverse as Louisiana, Norway, western Canada. KTL tours and plays with K-OS, YSP!WSD!, A Place to Bury Strangers, Dragonette, Chairlift, Bedouin Soundclash. KTL moves back to their hometown of Montreal. KTL loses 1 member, settling in as a 4-piece. KTL preps their new album, "Fog Area," very carefully, widening an already large sonic palette. KTL records the album at Breakglass with Jace. KTL releases the album. KTL writes this bio, and you eventually read this bio. KTL releases new music in 2010. KTL continues to live, and is dreaming of beautiful sounds right now. .. .. ..Contact:..
