KILLUS was formed in Vila-real around 14 years ago, under influences ranging from bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Marilyn Manson, White Zombie to Depeche Mode or Sisters of Mercy. On the basis of these sounds, KILLUS has been able to give expression to its musical line-up with a very personal style. The band has had the chance to share stage with renowned international bands like Clawfinger, Deathstars or Stoneman; and with important national bands namely Skizoo, Barricada, Mago de Oz, Soziedad Alkoholika, Marea, Berri Txarrak, Stravaganzza, Saratoga, Los Suaves, Sugarless, Freak XXI, Gatillazo, Habeas Corpus, Hamlet, Kannon, Cycle… Therefore, KILLUS has proved the staging as its strongest point, which is provided with great musical power and a stunning image. One thing after another, then, make their live concerts never go unnoticed. In 2006, KILLUS travelled to Bilbao to The Rock Studios (http://www.therockstudios.com) in order to record its first professional album entitled God Bless Us, produced by Carlos Creator (also producer of Spanish powerful bands like Soziedad Alkoholica, Anarko, Amset, Obus). Besides, the band counted on the collaboration of Curtonates (Terroristars) —who lent his voice for the song This is my time—, Lou (Lougarx - Sonata) —who sang the choir in Stereotype— and Carlos Dalton (Brutalizzed Kids, Miniatura) —who helped with the co-production. After having participated in the Deathstars and Stoneman tour (48 carat darkness – European tour), KILLUS managed to sign an agreement with the prestigious German record label Twilight Vertrieb (http://www.twilight-vertrieb.de), which took care of the distribution of the album God Bless Us in February 2007 around Belgium, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and France. This launch was given great reviews by the European media, over all by the German media. However, the band did not have the opportunity to tour around Europe to present their work. After the edition of God Bless Us, KILLUS was included in a compilation by the German record label X-Fusion Music, entitled Extreme Degeneration Vol 1. The song They suck my blood (God Bless Us 2007) took part in this compilation together with songs by groups of the importance of Ministry, Deathstars, Trent Reznor & Pigface, Punish Yourself, Red Cell, Stoneman… After a great year 2007, packed with concerts all around Spain, the band managed to get in touch with Jorge Escobedo (Sober, Skizoo) after a concert with Skizoo at Halloween's night 2007. This contact took the band to the recording of the new album Extinción in February 2008, in Madrid. Under the production of Jorge Escobedo, it was recorded in 666 and Oasis studios and mixed in Lorca (Murcia) in Sala de Máquinas studio. Having mastered Sonic Syndicate's and Noctiferia's albums, Jonas Kjellgren was responsible for the mastering of Extinción at Blacklounge studios in Pärlby, Sweden. Unlike their last recordings, in which they used English, this second album was recorded in Spanish. At the end of 2008, KILLUS dissociated themselves from Twilight Vertrieb in order to sign another agreement with the Spanish label DFX RECORDS, which took responsibility for the launch of Extinción in 2009. In the spring of this same year, KILLUS was included in the compilation of the Spanish bands with electronic touch, called Man vs Machine, released by Mutant-E Records. The band contributed the song Dead Revolution, together with bands such as Blood, Wormparade and Vigilante among others. In January 2010, KILLUS went back to The RockStudios in Bilbao to record their third album Nunca algo fue tan real, under the production of Carlos Creator, who previously produced their first album God Bless Us. After this release, new dates have followed among which Metal Fest –with Sepultura or Crowbard. At the beginning of 2011, KILLUS were signed up with Axiis Music label to launch their third album in the English version around the world. The album has the collaboration of Richard Sjunnesson (Sonic Syndicate, The Unguided) and it is mastered by Erik Broheden (Rammstein, Samael, Turbonegro). /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// KILLUS nació en Vila-real 14 años atrás, bajo influencias de bandas como Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Marilyn Manson, White Zombie hasta otras como Depeche Mode o Sisters of Mercy. La banda ha podido compartir escenario con bandas internacionales tan importantes como: Sepultura, Crowbard, Ill Niño, God Forbid, Clawfinger, Deathstars, Stoneman y del panorama nacional como: Skizoo, Barricada, Mago de Oz, Soziedad Alkoholika Marea, Berri Txarrak, Stravaganzza, Saratoga, Los Suaves, Sugarless, Freak XXI, Gatillazo, Habeas Corpus, Hamlet, Kannon, Cycle… Su puesta en escena es su punto más fuerte. Ésta viene dotada de una gran potencia musical y de una impactante imagen, lo cual todo junto hace que los directos no pasen nunca desapercibidos para nadie. En febrero de 2006, KILLUS viajó hasta Bilbao a The Rock Studios (http://www.therockstudios.com) para grabar su primer disco profesional llamado God Bless Us, producido por Carlos Creator (S.A, Anarko, Amset, Obus). Además, el grupo contó con las colaboraciones de Curtonates (Terroristars), prestando su voz en la canción This is my time; Lou (Lougarx, Sonata), haciendo coros en Stereotype y Carlos Dalton (Brutalizzed Kids, Miniatura) en la co-producción. Después de la participación de KILLUS durante la gira de Deathstars y Stoneman (48 carat darkness - european tour), la banda consiguió firmar por el prestigioso sello alemán Twilight Vertrieb (http://www.twilight-vertrieb.de), el cual se encargó de la distribución de God Bless Us en febrero de 2007 por los países: Bélgica, Alemania, Holanda, Suiza y Francia. Dicho lanzamiento recibió grandes críticas por los medios europeos, sobre todo por los medios alemanes, pero sin tener la oportunidad de salir por Europa a presentar su trabajo. Tras la edición de God Bless Us, KILLUS apareció en un recopilatorio del sello alemán X-Fusion Music bajo el nombre de Extreme Degeneration Vol 1, junto a bandas tan importantes como Ministry, Deathstars, Trent Reznor(Nine Inch Nails) & Pigface, The Revolting Cocks, Punish Yorself, Red Cell, Stoneman. El grupo apareció con el tema They Suck My Blood del álbum God Bless Us(2007). Después de un gran 2007, repleto de conciertos por toda la geografía española, la banda consiguió contactar con Jorge Escobedo (Sober, Skizoo). Dicho contacto conllevó la grabación de su segundo disco "Extinción" en febrero de 2008 en Madrid, bajo la producción de Jorge Escobedo en los Estudios 666 y Oasis; mezclado en Lorca (Murcia) en La sala de máquinas y masterizado por Jonas Kjellgren (Sonic Syndicate, Noctiferia) en los estudios Blacklounge de Pärlby de Suecia. Esta vez el disco fue grabado en castellano, ya que las anteriores grabaciones, habían sido en inglés. A finales de 2008, KILLUS se desvinculó de Twilight Vertrieb para fichar por el sello nacional DFX RECORDS, que se encargó del lanzamiento de "Extinción" en 2009. En la primavera de 2009, KILLUS apareció en el recopilatorio de bandas nacionales de toque electrónico, Man Vs Machine, lanzado por Mutant-E Records, contribuyendo con la canción Dead Revolution, junto a bandas como Blood, Wormparade y Vigilante entre otras. En 2010 bajo la producción de Carlos Creator, Killus graba su último álbum, Never something was so real, lanzado en 2011 con la compañía internacional Axiis music, con la colaboración de Richard Sjunnesson (Sonic syndicate) metiendo voces en el tema Vehemence, Cat Casino (Deathstars) grabando guitarras en los temas Wake up y The Path of the forgotten y remasterizado por Erik Broheden (Rammstein, Samael, Turbonegro). Este mismo álbum va a ser editado en el continente latinoamericano en el verano 2012 con el que inciarán su primer tour detrás del charco.
