   About Kimber Manning
WWW.INFUZEMAG.COM REVIEW BY:BRIAN PALMER........ I can't wait for Kimber Manning to write her own songs. Who, you might be asking, is Kimber Manning, and why the heck am I so excited about her? She is a jazz songstress who has released a fantastic indie album you ought to get your hands on. Eventually--her debut release--is a collection of 11 covers that run the gamut from upbeat and funky to slow and passionate. Best of all, her vocals draw you in naturally without all the esuperfluous bombast of many of today's popular artists. The title track is a sultry number, where Manning showcases everything from light and breathy vocals to skyscraping cries when talking about the man she has her eyes on. She stops short of going into the theatrics of someone like Celine Dion or Christina Aguilera, but still injects enough oomph into the words to make them come alive. The funky, piano-driven "Recipe For Love" is a saucy-yet-cute track about how good she and an unnamed guy are together. It has that fun, "one cup of you plus one cup of me, makes..." vibe that gets you singing and tapping your toes in about a nanosecond. Manning's vocals are scrumptuous, in a word. Anyone who digs the lounge singer style of jazz will enjoy what they hear on Eventually, especially on her oh-so-great-for-slow-dancing-with-your-honey cover of "At Last." Manning has such confidence in her voice that she doesn't feel obligated to show off every other second, which is refreshing when you think all the female singers today who think they have to throw their voice in a thousand directions to be appreciated. As I said at the beginning, I can't wait for her to write her own lyrics. These songs have a great sound to them (Jason Webb's piano is magnificent on "Walkin' After Midnight" for instance) and Manning's killer voice is more than enough to draw your attention, but the one drawback is that none of this material is hers. A minor thing perhaps, but it does leave me wondering how that part of her repertoire will fare once she tests it out. Here's hoping the next record is full of her own words. This is one guy who will be paying attention to her next step because it should be a big one. We're probably not looking at the next Norah Jones here, but Kimber Manning is a talent that has to be heard to be believed. If you don't believe me, listen to her gorgeous rendition of "What A Wonderful World." She saves the best for last with this track, truly making it her own, and while this song never gets old to me, I feel like I'm hearing it for the first time when she sings it. Get your hands on this record if you can; you won't be sorry.

This is just an example how easy people can be manipulated by Babylon System to become useful idiots.

Music is life and life is music. But how it is with commercial music? Can we still feel the joy of life there or does it only seem „cool“? Is it still art or just for useful idiots?

Fashion is by the brands. Imagine how many people agree to pay tooo much for clothes just for wearing brand-name clothes? I mean instead of pay so much for brands-name clothes they should rather get paid by the brands for the (unwanted?) publicity they do in the street;-) and that’s why I call them useful idiots.

In Europe many say that the US Americans are superficial while (almost?) everywhere in Europe US lifestyle (fahsion, commercial music etc.) is copied. How else could I define them if not as useful idiots?
In fact all those who are not true but trying to be "cool" are useful idiots for Babylon System. Unfortunately most - very most - people living in this world are like that otherwise the system would not work like that...

"A coward dies a thousand deaths, but a brave man dies but once" - the greatest challange...
Life is so precious, but it seems that humanity does not really respect life. Let's come together and stand up now - against Babylon System. If you have time, please write a comment on this blog (link below), it would be much appreciated. So other thought against the system will be heard...

A man died after the media killed him 'bout 15 years ago. I respect that man for all the marvellous talents he had to be the absolutely great artist he was. But, unfortunatley thanks to what he has done to his body, he had to suffer an early death…I hope where he's now he will find peace.
And I hope that many people stop follow the media, because the media does not foster artists who realize their own ideas, but boost preformers who do what the media (big business) tells them to do...
RIPMJ
God Bless You
PS: I respect all independent artists; it's easier for men to sell his soul than to find himself. An artist realize his own idea, lives and gives his true messages, a performer plays what the masses want or is dictated to hear, it isn't his own idea, that's why he has to sell himself to Babylon System. An artist is a medium out of himself, a perfomer is also a medium but actualy plays for another medium (the media), because he has sold his soul...
Much respect to you, Kimber

Thank you Kimber!

The past year has been a very challenging one but I am finding that though God cares about every area of my life... He cares more out my character than my comfort... Sometimes he will use the times when I am least cmfortabe to get my attention and bring me to my knees...

It is great to hear from you! I am your brother in Christ and will always be there for you!
