sleater-kinney, sonic youth, team dresch, helium, polvo etc. etc. etc. 90s blah blah. a time when people didn't cringe at the sound of feedback and when you enjoyed seeing what awful sounds you could squeeze out of your instrument.
some of these recordings are more than two years old, some are not. we play music because we have fun playing it, and we rarely play out; but when we do, we make sure it's awesome.
