The night was cold and blistery when Matunos staggered up the jagged slope of Mount Errigal. The hulking god carried a single egg as if it were his own. He reached the summit and lightly set the egg down on a mantle of rock. The sky grew angry and lightning flashed like a disco. As the giant bear began to dance, a small crack appeared on the egg's surface. The fissure grew and a faint sound began to emanate through the thunderous storm. The sonance continued to grow and Matunos stopped and noted its powerful vibrations & rhythmic prowess. Matunos resumed his dancing, this time with much more fervor. Ursus Arctos was born.
