Koldborn was formed in 1997 from the ashes of Icon Of Sin by drummer Rasmus and axeman Heinz with the intention of playing brutal music with a
groove. After finishing the lineup, they recorded the 1999 demo "Blessed By
Beyond" which lead to a contract with Danish legendary label Diehard Music. The debut CD "First Enslavement" was recorded in their own studio with producer Jacob Bredahl (Hatesphere, Leng T..che, Machinemade God etc.). The album recieved overwhelming reviews for its musical diversity and brutal groove with a Skandinavian touch of melody.
After releasing this album axeman Heinz was recrouted by fellow Danish thrashers Hatesphere to fill in the spot as lead guitarist and is still maintaining the job to this day on.
In 2004 Koldborn once again released musical fury in shape of "The Devil Of All Deals EP". This EP introduced new vocalist Lars who contributed with an extremely powerful voice and great sense for catchy hooklines. Straight after the release of this EP, the band started working on their next fulllength CD "The Uncanny Valley".
"The Uncanny Valley" shows a direct evolution from "The Devil...EP" with faster music that is more catchy, contains more groove and less melody - just what the boys were aiming for.
Now teamed up with French metal maestros from Listenable Records, the band seems unstopable in their pursue of musical aggression, so prepare to enter "The Uncanny Valley" and experience Danish brutality anno 2009!!!
Koldborn are currently writing songs for the next fullength cd - eta late 2009.

Always good to get home, after a long trip min ven, but would do it again, (regardless of how much i dread them planes), in a split second for sure.. (just gotta get some coin together).
Cheers for the wishes with our unit Athermae, we were in the rehersal rooms, stuffing around with another demo the other day. So perhaps one day a full set, & slap an LP together.. Time will tell.
What have you been up to of late Lars? We are feeling the cold of late down here, so the warmer weather must be close for you fellas..
