About Konkrete Jungle Las Vegas

Konkrete Jungle is the world's longest consistently running weekly Jungle Drum and Bass event. Since 1994, Konkrete Jungle has served as the foundation the New York City's Jungle Drum and bass community through it's weekly events and legendary one-off's that have featured top-notch overseas and stateside talent.

The name has since spread to cities across the globe with loyal junglists taking on the task of spreading the vibe and meaning of Konkrete Jungle. The people who help spread this believe that Mac, and all of the original New York City crew created a sub-culture in the Drum and Bass world that looks beyond color or creed, and instead welcomes everyone to enjoy, dance, and even be a part of the music, or better yet be a part of a family.

As we take on this task of spreading the Konkrete Jungle vibe here in Las Vegas, we know that we have to keep to the basics of how it is done in New York, and how we have seen it done successfully in Virginia, the chapter we came from.

The true vibe of Konkrete Jungle doesnt have any "Big Talkers," or people trying to be "The Man," or people trying to be cooler than others. The true vibe of Konkrete Jungle is the simplicity of a culture that welcomes everyone and creates an enviroment for people to let loose and have fun without fear of ridicule to the sounds of Jungle Muzik.
