Das 1. KOSMO PAREA WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL ist eine musikalische Weltreise im Kölner Gloria Theater. Unser Freundeskreis KOSMO PAREA hat MusikerInnen aus aller Welt eingeladen, um interkulturelle Klangwelten zu schaffen, Menschen miteinander zu verbinden und musikalische Traditionen einem großen Publikum zugänglich zu machen.
Es ist uns gelungen, fantastische Künstler mit einem großartigen Repertoire grenzüberschreitender Musikstile in der Kulturmetropole Köln zu vereinen: Eine interkulturelle Musikreise mit Einflüssen aus Balkan, Gipsy-Brass, Roma, Klezmer, Rembetiko, Bouzouki, Folk, Reggae und Ska.
Mit dabei sind LOCOMONDO aus Athen, die eine feurige Mischung aus knackigem Reggae, Ska, Folk und Rembetiko zum Besten geben werden, sowie das mazedonische Ensemble ORIGINAL KOCANI ORKESTAR um den Star-Trompeter NAAT VELIOV.
Komplettiert wird das Programm durch LA CHERGA feat. IRINA KARAMARKOVIC aus Graz, die auf dem Festival ihr neues Album präsentieren und der legendären AMSTERDAM KLEZMER BAND aus den Niederlanden.
Auch unsere GLOBAL DJ’s werden mit schweißtreibenden Beats den Tanzwütigen im Anschluss weiter einheizen.
Dafür sorgen Dj Click (Globe Trotter from Paris), Dj Kosta Kostov (Balkan Express/Cologne), Gypsy Sound System aus der Schweiz, Dj Astamatitos und Dj Dieta (Three Blind Mice aus Siegburg).
Wir erwarten eine kosmische Atmosphäre und freuen uns, wenn Sie sich unserer „Parea“ anschließen.
The 1. KOSMO PAREA WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL is a musical world tour in the Cologne Gloria Theatre. Our circle of friends, KOSMO PAREA, invited artists from all over the world creating intercultural sounds, connecting people and making musical traditions accessible to a large audience.
This festival unites fantastic musicians with a great repertoire of transnational music styles. It will take place in Köln/Cologne, also known as the Metropolis of Culture and Music: A cross-cultural tour influenced by Balkan, Gipsy-Brass, Roma, Klezmer, Rembetiko, Bouzouki, Folk, Reggae and Ska music.
The program will feature LOCOMONDO from Athens fusing Reggae, Ska, Folk and Rembetiko with Greek elements and lyrics, the Macedonian ensemble ORIGINAL KOCANI ORKESTAR with their famous trumpeter NAAT VELIOV.
Also taking the stage is LA CHERGA feat. IRINA KARAMARKOVIC from Graz, Austria, presenting their new album as well as the legendary AMSTERDAM KLEZMER BAND from the Netherlands.
Our GLOBAL DJ’s will electrify the audience and complete this explosive event:
