Kristin Fjellseth is a Norwegian singer/songwriter with her heart on the sleeve. Her songs are made with passion and sorrow, inspired by birds, angels, stars, pirates and people. Her voice has been her tool of expression since she was a little girl. As the daughter of a preacherman, she grew up with churchmusic and Johnny Cash. At early age she started performing in services, weddings and funerals. At fifteen she joined the gothic pop- band Pale Forest. Together with pale Forest she released three albums, two EP´s and played shows in Oslo, Copenhagen, Paris, Barcelona, Roma, Hamburg and Prague, among other big cities in Europe. Today she is a solo-artist with good help from her producer and guitar-player Jon Anders Narum and her live-musicians. Her first solo-album is almost finished, hopefully it will be released February 2008. In the meantime you can enjoy her music here at myspace. She is also contributing with the song "Paa Havsens Bunn" on the Anti Atlas-album(UK) "Between Voices", where she sings in her native language, norwegian.
Hi, Kristin, how are you? I keep on listening to "Air" and did I tell you that I like your Sunken Soldiers Ball the most? Still I'm not sure about the right meaning of this song's name, maybe it's too complicated for me). By the way, is there a chance your solo album will be available in Russia?

just wanted to say hello from Tromsö while I am in your country ;-) It's very beautiful here, I'm surrounded by snowy mountains under a blue sunny sky. Two nights ago, I saw for the first time a beautiful and hugre green auroral arc accross the sky. Very impressive !

in a bit less than four weeks, I'll visit your country! Actually I'll be in Tromsö for 10 days for my work but will have time to visit a bit as well. Have you ever played in Tromsö ? Some people told me that there are gigs there regularly. I'll check if there is not an interesting gig during my period there. However, I'll make observations with the big radar there nearly every night so it might be difficult to attend a gig, except if weather conditions are poor and we cancelled the schedule that night.

When I first heard you voice in Agua de Annique's song I got interested in your personality and your works. It was so astonishly childish and it still sounds in my head. Thanks for your music and lyrics!
