The first 3 Labrador-Cds were releaseed in Scandinavia, Germany and Japan, and you can find Labrador-songs on samplers from all over the world.
Labrador has been touring in Denmark, Germany, France, Japan and U.K.
The style of Labrador is lounge-pop, inspired of the best pop-artist form the 60’s and 70’s.
The latest Labrador album “Caleidoscope Aeroplane” (2008/2009), was recorded in Cuba with local studiomusicans such as trumpetist Alex Abreu (Isaac Delgado, Pablo Milanez, Buena Vista Social Club).
Mary McDonald from Virgin Digitals website in London writes about Labrador:
Can some music be just too perfect?
Certainly this is a question Danish band Labrador..s would be critics have posed to themselves as they’ve tried unsuccessfully to drag their fingers off the repeat button.
Full of sheer popmagic, the music of Labrador draws inspiration from the classic age of pop, embracing all that was right about the likes of Burt Baccharach and Herb Alpert with captivating friendly melodies and soft delectable horns.
Formed in 1998 by Danish legend Flemming Borby from the remains of the acclaimed band Greene, Labrador combines marvellous vocals with well judged electronica and an indie sensibility, bringing a hip contemporary edge to keep your ears addicted and your batteries worn out.

Flemming, I am so happy to meet you and to have played your music with you. I am still enjoying the great sounds of the Coleidoscope Aeroplane cd, still taking in all the experiences of the last several days. I had such a great time hanging out with you, talking about music and life and playing the music of Labrador. I sincerely hope to work with you again.
