About LAB Records Welcome to LAB Records on Myspace. Feel free to add, message, listen - even send us a demo.

The LAB brand begun as a Blackpool-based promotions company in 2006. After bringing many of the UK's finest young bands to the Northern town for the first time, LAB's ethics and ideals became celebrated, infectious - and the result was this label.

Now in its third year, LAB has grown pleasantly quickly. Our bands played hundreds of shows all over the UK in 2008, and sold thousands of records in the process. By May 2009 the label continued its growth by going full-time and launching a sister clothing company under the 'LAB' brand. We are now based in a new office in Salford - the same city responsible for some of the most influential bands and labels of the modern era.

Throughout the Summer of 2009, LAB bands featured on some of the most exciting tours and festivals the UK has to offer - MiMi Soya supporting American heavyweights Cobra Starship across the country and The Auteur being asked to play Slam Dunk, Great Escape, Download and T In The Park Festivals.
