Brazilian act Lacerated And Carbonized, based on Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, was conceived in late 2005 by Jonathan Cruz (vocals), Caio Mendonça (guitars), Doc (bass) and Victor Mendonça (Drums).
The band offers fierce and rife with brutality death metal in the vein of Aborted, Prostitute Disfigurement, Krisiun and Rebaelliun, though garning their own identity with determination.
The band made their debut in July 2007 with the Demo-CD entitled Chainsaw Deflesher, which brought Eregion (Unearthly/Mysterian Art) in charge of both musical production and grafical art. It captures best the gathering of elements that define Lacerated And Carbonized’s approach: fierce and direct death metal tracks and well-crafted lyrical content.
In 2008 the band was cast in festivals throughout the country, partnering with prominent nacional and internacional acts such as Mayhem, Sarcófago, Gräfenstein, Claustrofobia and Unearthly.
And 2009 starts promising as it will see the release of Lacerated And Carbonized forthcoming first album.
O Lacerated And Carbonized foi criado ao final do ano de 2005 por Jonathan Cruz (vocais), Caio Mendonça (guitarras), Doc (baixo) e Victor Mendonça (bateria), na cidade do Rio de Janeiro/ Brasil.
O grupo traz à tona um Death Metal calcado em peso e brutalidade, seguindo a escola de bandas como Aborted, Prostitute Disfigurement, Krisiun e Rebaelliun, mas trilhando seu próprio caminho com identidade e determinação.
Em julho de 2007, a banda debutou na cena com sua demo intitulada Chainsaw Deflesher, que contou com a produção de Eregion (Unearthly/Mysterian Art), musical e graficamente. O registro como um todo representa a confluência de elementos que caracterizam e definem a proposta do Lacerated And Carbonized: faixas diretas, com letras brutais e arte gráfica ilustrando bem essa temática.
Em 2008 a banda participou de festivais renomados por todo o país tocando com bandas de renome no cenário nacional e internacional, como Mayhem, Sarcófago, Gräfenstein,. Claustrofobia e Unearthly
O ano de 2009 se inicia como um ano promissor, com a gravação do primeiro Full-lenght do Lacerated And Carbonized.
