We are the 2 piece metal band Lacerator consisting of drummer Vinny Padavano and guitarist Pat Hawkins. Our goal is to create metal songs that have diverse influences and our own personalities and ideas put into them, making us somewhat of an amalgamation of Thrash, Death, and Progressive Metal. We strive to make music that is not only heavy but interesting, and it is very important to us to put technical and songwriting ability into each song we write. We're working on writing new metal songs that are instrumental, when possible. Both of us are currently away at college, but when the opportunity arises, we hope to create more music and go further.

Island Wide Booking will be hosting a battle of the bands on July 17th at Broadway in Amityville.
Details:
- Each show will have around 15 bands
- Each band will be given the opportunity to play 3 songs in front of their fans and our panel of judges.
- There will be one winner from each show that will walk away with $1000 that night.

October 29th, 2007, Covan (vocalist of DECAPITATED), was seriously injured in an accident which involved their tour bus while travelling to a show in Gomel,Belarus. Sadly this accident claimed the life of Vitek(drummer of DECAPITATED). Covan is still going thru a long and difficult recovery and needs our help.
