Formed in 2002 by bassist/vocalist Pat Henry and guitarist Bill DeShay, LACK THEREOF began tearing up the metal community with their unique brand of aggressive death/thrash metal. In the summer of 2002, LTO released their self-titled demo, which featured then drummer Ross Gary, who left the band for college in the fall of the same year. In desperate need for a drummer, Shaun Dilliplane stepped up to bash the skins and give the band the severe kick in the ass that it needed. Feeling that the help of a second guitarist would balance out the sound, Pat Henry stepped up to fill the rhythm guitar spot, as Pat Wright took over the role as bassist. In 2003, LACK THEREOF released their new 4 song ep entitled "A Message of Positivity", which displayed their knack for rocking a nifty brand of metal. Pat Wright then left the band for personal reasons and LACK THEREOF was again in search of another member. "Metal" Mike Million, formerly of the now defunct EVIL BREAD and DEVILCAKE, stepped into the fold as the new and permanent 2nd guitarist and Pat Henry then moved back to bass duties.
In 2005, LACK THEREOF released their album "Faults of the Flesh," and still no one gave a shit. In December of '05, the dudes decided to go their separate ways much like Journey told them to (fuckin' Steve Perry.)
