Linda Caroline Sundblad was born on June 5th, 1981. She grew up in Lidkoping, a little city in south of Sweden. She
studied drama in high school, but at the age of 15 she dropped out to be the vocal in Lambretta.
Lambretta was formed in 1993 by Anders Eliasson, Petter Lantz and Tomas Persic. At that time Anders was the singer. But
after a while Lambretta decided they needed someone else to be the head singer. That's when Linda became a part of the
picture, this very energetic young girl, proved to be very mature and took on her new role as lead singer with great confidence.
Since then she's been a natural part of Lambretta.
Linda grew up with her parents and two brothers and two sisters. Her father, Ulf, is a musician and owns a music store. So
music has always been a big part of Linda's life. When she doesn't work with Lambretta, Linda loves to spend time with her family and friends.
The best part of being a member of Lambretta are the live shows, according to Linda. You get good response from the
audience and you have a good time together.
Linda is today a well known artist with a fully developed voice, both her personality and her looks are making her even more popular all around Europe.
Lambretta released their debut album, "Breakfast", in October 1999. Three singles were released from that album, "Blow
My Fuses", "Absolutely Nothing" and "I'm Coming Home". The first single Blow My Fuses became a big hit in Sweden
during summer 1999.
The first single from the second album, "Bimbo", was very successful released 2001 and reached gold status in Sweden
and Norway within a couple of weeks after its release. The album itself, Lambretta, released later the same year, also
reached gold in Sweden and has been very successful around Europe with high chart entries in Germany for example.
They also went over to the US and made a couple of very appreciated concerts.
Lambretta worked with a couple of interesting producers and songwriters, such as Max Martin, Jonas von der Burg.
Besides Bimbo, Creep and Perfect Tonight were singles released from this album.
Lambretta was back in June 2004 with a single, "Kill Me", from the album "The Fight". The album was released in
Dec 2004. It is an album with the hardest sound Lambretta produced so far. According to Linda it is the best album ever
by Lambretta. Lambretta are Linda Sundblad - vocals, Klas Edmundsson - guitar, Petter, Lantz - bass, Marcus Nowak - drums.
The presumable reason of the band's break-up was the tensions in the band, and the divisions between the manager and the band. After the break-up Linda Sundblad decided to start a solo career in a different musical direction. Petter and Marcus entered a new band Psych Onation. There's nothing about Klas.
