"Hey My Friend,
Yesterday I was rippin the roads stressed out, physically exhausted and emotionally and spiritually on empty. I hadn't listened to your CD in a while so popped it in the player. Almost immediately I was relaxed, refreshed and filled. I know music is your passion. Its who you are, but its also a way God blesses people, hence; its a ministry too. Today I thank God not only for the music He put in you but for knowing you as well. You are a sweet man with a kind heart. It is my prayer that you and your family be blessed comin' and goin'. Don't ever stop making music.
Your friend,
Whit"
I don't care what anyone says. The most challenging aspect of being an artist is to stand before an audience and to tell the truth --- YOUR truth as expressed through the music that YOU create. I'm not talking about trying to be cute or clever, or rhyming "Dan" with "Man". I'm not talking about trying to impress somebody with lightin speed chops or a million colorful chords. What I'm saying is that real art takes the honesty and courage to reflect on your life, then to tell YOUR story --- warts and all.

Thanks for remembering Larry. The Mt. Olympus is long gone... hey bands and bars tend to have a short life expectancy. Things are going well with the band. We're going on 14 years, we've done 48 overseas tours, have 3 CDs out, we just added a killer fiddle player (yep... Blues fiddle), a third studio CD is due in a couple months. Bottom line... we're making good music and having a great time. Your music is sounding as great as ever. Holler any time. All the best in Blues and life! -Big Daddy
