Recorded Summer of 2005 at Analog Records & Studios

One of the most influential bands that the "Isla del Encanto" has given birth to. Their debut album titled "La Santa Ska" is a glimps at the mind of the Muckcrakers...Christian, Gaby, Ricky and Hassam. This quartet is the engine that pumps out those infectous hooks that seem to resound over and over again with only one play.

The band got together in the summer of 2005 to record "La Santa Ska". The album was recorded in 3 days at Analog Records. The band seemed so at ease recording the album that ideas were just flowing from one end to another. Songs like "Naciente y Gris" a haunting story in which drives you through passages no other "ska" band has achived.

From "Naciente y Gris" we see the wacky side of the band with such songs as "Mongolian Ska", which lets you know that they mean buisness. They mock their own genre with their own interpretation of "La Traditional".

Sound Engineering and Production for "La Santa Ska" was by Analog Records & Studios own Giovanni Defendini which got to capture the signature Lo/Fi technique he uses, giving the album it's raw edge.

After a year and a half we are back charging full steam ahead with the release of our latest album "Songs For The Road Towards The End Of The World" this past May 31, 2009.
