With the passing of Lori Carhart, the band's lead singer, in February 2014, Launch Pad has retired. Former Launch Pad members, including Lori's husband, Paul, have formed a new band, Third World Sun. In addition to new material, the new band also plays retooled versions of some of Launch Pad's songs. "Lori's music still lives," reports Paul Carhart. "We'll never forget her.
