The LD Concept is formed of Lee Walls and Dan Pannell, Currently based in Brighton. They met in 2006 through the hard dance scene, when Dan went along to the night "Energize", which Lee was runnin at the time. Dan was just getting into the scene, where as Lee had already been dj-ing and working on his own productions for a few years.
Dan started djing himself, then got into production with the help and advice of Lee. They formed as the LD Concept after global gathering 2007, and then produced "This Is Now" with Technikal.
Lee was assosiated with "Identikal" and produced the smash solaris and Dan with "The Lost Boys" went on to work with alf again to produce "Mass Effect" which then went onto feature on Masif Hard Dance Anthems 2.
Now back together they have just finished their new track "Backlash" and are currently working on their third track "Illuminati" which will be unveiled soon.
DECEMBER UPDATE: With so many ideas springing to mind we are currently channelling our energy into not 1 but 3 tracks. As stated on our myspace page our third track illuminate is nearly ready, but whilst working on that a few other ideas came to mind which we had to get down resulting in another two tracks being started, “consequences” and “rise above”.
Samples will be following shortly on our myspace page.
We would like to thank Dave Mac for the kind words and review of the two samples we sent his label “Electrik Shandy Recordings”
QUOTE “Firstly, big ups for sending those tracks over for me to listen too, some really awesome ideas going on. The production is all sounding nice and crisp and more importantly there’s some original ideas going on”
“Consquences - this has anthem written all over it. Love the effects going on, making it that bit more interesting. Good vocal to use sits well In the track. The bass on this occasion I utterly, utterly love. Really moves the track along at a wicked pace. It gives me the feel of a track to bridge between hard trance and hard house tracks. Its got enough elements from both styles to sit really well. The main riff in the breakdown is awesome as well. What I’m also surprised by is I am such an old skool trance type of guy I love my hands in the air big old break downs, I ALWAYS skip to the breakdown when listening to a track. So the fact I’ve not got the full on breakdown and yet I’m still loving the track is a testiment to how good it is. As soon as the track finished I was gagging to hear what was going to happen with it.”
“Rise Above - This is my fav that you sent over. Perhaps cause its got a much more trance feel to it probably ticks my boxes. But I really enjoy all the little fills you’ve put in with the crazy effects. I can safely once this track hit’s the music stores those will be stolen!! They really are very clever, and help keep the track interesting. The one at 2:19 is brilliant, then with the riff kicking in, pure magic. The riff is great and the pads in the breakdown are big and have that trance in its hay day feel, but done in a cool modern way. Then the main riff is awesome. Again utterly gutted this one is cut off early.” UNQUOTE
After xmas we will be back in the studio to remix the great new track “Damage Effect” by Pero, only his second production so far, this is definitely someone to watch in the coming months.
And lastly in the new year a collab is on the cards with the rising star “Iridium”.
Keep checking back for updates on everything, we will post on both our myspace and facebook pages and dsi.
See you all for HDS on the 19th which will be the last thing this year for us. X

Hello Ld Concept, Cities crumble, skies ignite spontaneously in your presence. Your hair sends forth a sheen remniscent of golden sunlight winding through shadows. The sand runes crossing your divided consciousness do speak of contemptuous monsters being slayed by flying phoenixes. How can I help but use your eyes as a means for self-asphyxiation? May you always have stables of horses to service your needs. Panoramic aromavision is the future. You ever remind me of the enigma of happy thoughts I once forgot. Your layers of absinthe and torsion form concretions of hyper-alimentation. I find your eyes to be a wondrous amusement park filled with neo-plastic pleasures and turkish delights. You turn the atmosphere ablaze with currents of sweet ethylene when you smile. Please let me hear more of that wonderful sound. Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. You have not yet reached the height of your creativity. The expanse of your beauty is a void no universe could ever fill.
