Anyone who has made a positive difference in my life and musicians such as: Adele Assante, The Cars, Roxy Music, Radiohead, Nada Surf, Echo and the Bunnymen, Jon Brion, The Beatles, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Joe Jackson, Wilco, Pj Harvey, Beck, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Neil Young, The Who, Tom Waits, Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams, Joni Mitchell, Talk Talk, Queen, The Police, Aimee Mann, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Bob Dylan, XTC, Cursive, Neil Finn, Pearl Jam, Bjork, My Morning Jacket, Rickie Lee Jones, The Pretenders, The Ronnettes, Cindy Lauper, The Temptations, Jackson Browne, The Waitresses, Roy Orbison.....the list is too long, but these are the musical influences. I love early, scratchy recordings on analog and cassette tapes, I feel they are the most raw representations of an artists work. I listen to a lot of motown, country, experimental, anything noisy or calm, quiet or loud, dreamy or scary, anything worth listening to....or shoved in my face. Either way, I'll listen.....(except if it's Liza Minelli doing a duet with Kermit on the Muppet Show. That was just uncomfortable, different, but uncomfortable.)

I have been writing and recording for a while. I think it's been roughly 15 years and enjoy every minute of it. I have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of people through my music and have had the opportunity to play with some extremely beautiful musicians. For the past 7 years, I have been playing in RI and MA with Sean Gilchrist, Jim Beaupre, Eric Hastings, and a few others...recording, performing, etc.
As of this year, 2009, I am taking a huge turn and working on an EP with the guys. I am very excited about it and the sound is oh-so yummy and will bring you back in time.......Music, Yes. It is what I live and breathe and I would not be sane (or whatever it is I am) if I could not play and sing. Music has driven me and continues to carry me through life. Turns and twists and all.
