LEAO MANGO

Born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1981. Musician, frontman, songwriter, composer and DJ style.
At age 13 began his first music studies in 1999 and then stepped on stage with just his first 17 years of age.
It is more than 10 years of artistic career, during which ah shared the stage with great artists of national and international scene: The Peter Tosh Band (Jamaica), The Lion (Jamaica), Leon Magallan (Belgium), Don2blade (Nigeria ) Fidel Nadal (Argentina), Alika (Argentina), Rebel-I (Peru), Dj Nelson (Argentina), Princesa (Argentina), Moni Amlak (Chile), Actitud Maria Marta (Argentina), Estrella Negra (Chile) It was Brown (Chile), Jimmy Luv (Brazil), Congo Bongo (Uruguay), Once Tiros (Uruguay), Mono Roots (Uruguay), Abuela Coca (Uruguay), among others.
At the end of 2007 made a tour of South America which culminated in May 2008, performing several shows in places like Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Rosario, Cordoba, Mendoza, Santiago de Chile, Valparaíso, Viña del Mar. In July 2008 was selected to represent Uruguay at the First Festival of Dj Staila "(organized by The 1fled God, Rock And Pop), sharing the stage with Reggae greats Latino.
Today Leao is considered the greatest exponent of reggae rap in Uruguay. Amongst other things for being the only solo DJ Staila in his country, genre born in Jamaica in the 70s and every day beyond itself growing rapidly around the world.

Leao Mango Nace en Montevideo, Uruguay en 1981. Músico, frontman, cantautor, compositor y Dj style. A los 13 años comienza sus primeros estudios musicales, para luego en 1999 pisar su primer escenario con apenas 17 años de edad. Consta con mas de 10 años de trayectoria artística, durante la cual a compartido escenario con grandes artistas de la escena nacional e internacional como: The Peter Tosh Band (Jamaica), The Lion (Jamaica), Leon Magallan (Bélgica), Don2blade (Nigeria), Fidel Nadal (Argentina), Alika (Argentina), Dj Nelson (Argentina), Princesa (Argentina), Moni Amlak (Chile), Actitud Maria Marta (Argentina), Estrella Negra (Chile), Se Brown (Chile), Jimmy Luv (Brasil), Congo Bongo (Uruguay), Once Tiros (Uruguay), Mono Roots (Uruguay), Abuela Coca (Uruguay), entre otros. A fines del 2007 realizó una gira por Sur América que culminó en mayo del 2008, realizando varios shows en lugares como Río de Janeiro, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Rosario, Córdoba, Mendoza, Santiago de Chile, Valparaíso, Viña del Mar. En julio del 2008 es seleccionado para representar a Uruguay en el “Primer Festival De Dj Style” (1fled), compartiendo escenario con los grandes del Reggae Latino. Este año (2009) realiza una gira por el interior y capital de Argentina, tocando en ciudades como Cordoba cap., mendoza, Posadas (Misiones), Mendoza, Rio Cuarto, Rosario y Buenos Aires.
Hoy en día Leao es considerado el mayor exponente del Reggae rap en el Uruguay y reconocido en barrios paises de latinoamerica y el mundo por su calidad de artista y compsitor, tanto asi que suena en radios de Estados Unidos, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela y Europa entre otros. Destacándose entre otras cosas por ser el único Dj Style solista en su país, género que nace en los años 70 en Jamaica y día a día se supera a si mismo creciendo rápidamente en todo el mundo.
