During the 4th World War, the elemental nature of science was changed and formed a new kind of music. People over the last 7 billion years have argued about it's origins and small rodents have fallen asleep to the tonal variation it creates. ARE YOU AWAKE? Lecter Macabre eats food, breathes air and drinks liquid. They are two men. One is a member of Sydney group TRIANGLE. He is the mouth sound. He is Dr. Lecter. The other is the former member of a radio show on 2SER known as Music For Big Game Hunting. He waves his hands and creates magic sounds from the antenna. He is Dr. Kklarence S. Macabre. If you choose now it may be too early. If you choose in one second's time it may be too late.
The 1st album released in September 2005 is called 13 Hobs Lane...it is good
Our 2nd album is a live one released in June 2006 called "monos del hombre en la calle del rey" and is also good and was recorded at the Sandringham in Newtown earlier this year. Our 3rd album is another live one called "Chromium Antiquity" which consists of our first two live performances. It will be released at our next show...whenever that is. Our 4th album called "Fleische" is mostly a return to the studio and was released in December 2006. A 5th album idea has been thrown into the mix and will start production in early 2007. We toured Melbourne at the beginning of December 2006 and hopefully will tour Brisbane and Melbourne again next year if all goes well. Keep me alive with fire.......venues we've played at include - The Lansdowne Hotel, Chippendale/Hermanns Bar, Wentworth Building, Sydney University/Pine St Creative Arts Centre, Chippendale/The Sandringham Hotel, Newtown/The Marquee, Camperdown/Club 77, Kings Cross/Summer Winds Festival, Footscray Park, Footscray, VIC/Bar Open, Fitzroy, VIC............quotes about our music "Did I just hear someone raping a dolphin?", Urinal Mints.
lukas simonis -(the netherlands) Lukas Simonis has his roots as an instrumentalist and musical 'activist' in the industrial music and noise rock of the Eighties ( Throbbing Gristle, the Residents, Pere Ubu, Sonic Youth and beyond).Being a part of the Rotterdam jazzbunker scene (a collective that consisted of heavy drug induced punk rockers, freejazzers, early electronic musicians and pre-postrock combo's) he discovered the delimited world of improvisation. In the meantime he played in bands like Dull Schicksal, Trespassers W and Morzelpronk. At the same time he was writing for underground magazines like Trespassers W, Opscene, Mondain Den Haag and the Koekrandt as well as organizing concerts, events and films, first at the Jazzbunker in Rotterdam later on the Dissonanten festival, the Dissidenten festival, Popifilm, Dodorama and finally WORM, a multimedia centre for experimentel art.
Joyce Hinterding - Joyce Hinterding is an artist producing and exhibiting works that explore physical and virtual dynamics. Her explorations with acoustic and electrical phenomena have produced large sculptural antenna works and sound-producing installations while her collaborative work has produced remote event based works for the web and explorations with video and 3d graphics
David Haines - My process is in a kind of fog – a northern fog. Especially when you hear the sort of sound that I like. I am like a semi- amnesiac in that I barely remember the process. I just do things in my studio...Some of those things are about operating through conscious formal rules of engagement (because my training originally is as a formalist painter, that part comes naturally) and others are partial experiments let loose, which I hope will serve the idea that I have. If they don’t I strike them out.
