Hey folks. Thanks for checking out my Myspace. I'm a singer songwriter producer originally from Logan City, Australia (near Brisbane and the Gold Coast) but recently I've spent many fun times in the U.S. I feel so lucky getting to travel and meet new people and find awesome beaches (and yummy food) all over, through playing music - music that aims to make people smile and dance and think. And if I get you to do one of those three things, I'm stoked. Cheers, Lee.
“Lee Coulter can bring his music to life with a guitar and a microphone, with all the tasteful rhythm, vocal presence and controlled intelligence of the best of the singer songwriters on any stage… He seems to see the world the way things are, but musters enough hope and simple joy to overcome the darkest observation.”
– Billy Sheppard of RogueRadio.com.
"Like someone turned a Tazmanian Devil into a man and put a guitar in his hands...this is good time music that makes you dance and feeds your soul." - San Diego Troubadour Magazine.
"Coulter is a capable and prolific songwriter, frankly furtive and possessed of a sense of humor that is more observant than irreverent. His music and lyrics reflect a positive outlook that is galaxies away from the metallic gloom of his plugged-in contemporaries. How refreshing." - Honolulu Weekly
"Listening to Lee Coulter, I could hear elements of some of the rhythmic play of G. Love and lyrical fluidity of Jason Mraz and, of course, the smooth feel of Jack Johnson. His lyrics are smart and actually provoke laughter and paint images." - R World Blog See Lee's youtube vids
Michael Jackson attained in his funeral what evaded him in life: Sanity, balance, and serenity. Even absence of rapacious fraudsters and irresponsible media. Hope you are in heaven Michael, in a Neverland in the sky. I think so.
Hope you guys in the backblocks of the developing world got some replay of Wimbledon Mens Final. We watched it live and it was a classic. 16-14 in the final set! Federer played his usual finesse (46 aces or comething) but Andy really lifted his game outside of the normal world to a surreal level, and was up there with him. Great match.
There are better things to wish for in this life than being as talented, adulated and managerially beguiled as Michael Jackson. God Bless him. Wish he had had the talent and the admiration/respect without the crooks moving in to sooth him into getting mixed up. 5'10 and 8stone 1oz???

I got a DVD of Elvis 1970 doing rehearsals in the studio then in his white jump suit in Vegas. It is beautiful. Friggin genius. Been playing it a lot. I m not scared to say I am Elvis fan. He sings other peoples songs and gives them flare.
