These guys really connect with their audience, turning each live show into a rockin’ house party with friends! Count on a spontaneous, exciting mix of gritty new originals and obscure country gems, all infused with youthful rebellion and a neo-honky-tonk edge!
In the past 2 years, Lee Taylor has shared the stage with some of Canada’s biggest names, including Corb Lund, Aaron Pritchett, and Shane Yellowbird. In 2006, The Lee Taylor Band scored top honors in CMT/Country 105’s Rising Star competition! A proud and surprising achievement, considering the band’s sound is unlike today’s typical mainstream pop/country offerings.
These boys are off to a fantastic start and really picking up speed! Be sure to keep your ears open for The Lee Taylor Band… tearing it up soon at a beer joint near you!
sadly small towns make me drink way too much... must eat first! Still the very brief time i saw and heard you was great! please give me another chance, i promise i will be better behaved! lol
Glad to hear it went well. I've actually just recently found a band in need of a keys player. They play mostly classic rock, but it's stuff I can dig, so I'll deal with it so that at least I'm playing with some people. Everyone in the band have other careers, so it'll just be a once a week thing with the odd gig here and there. Should be alright.
I'm going to try to get out to your Wednesday night thing next week. I'm of to northern BC for this weekend, then free for at least a while. See you then, and we'll have at least "A" beer...
It was a pleasure as always! I'm all set up with Skype and I've added you to the list. We'll have to set up a time to start hammering out some tunes. Cheers man,
I should have those business cards done up by early next week. We're on the road to fort mcmurray tomorrow...I have plenty of time to work on it in the truck on the way!
Indeed I did, but I won't lie that I'm feeling a little cheated since I didn't arrive at the hotel until around 1:00 and your next several shows all appear to be private functions. I must be given insider tips on how to get into these events! :)
