Legacy of brutality was born in Puerto de Vega at the end of 2006 with a single, clear goal: playing fast. It..s that simple but it..s the truth. The only real porpuse was to play music extreme and the more extreme the better. The group was born and remains composed of Javi (drums), Lalo (bass), Borja (member of RÉPLICA), Yoye (guitar,), and Simón (vocals). At first we raised the idea of becoming a band of tribute to Death Metal groups doing versions of classics elected in democracy by all members without exception. At the end of a roster comprised of hundreds of songs (not a joke) we remain with abaut a dozen. Some of these songs have never come to playing live, because that with the passage of time and naturally, we were focusing on the composition of songs themselves. Among the versions appeared groups such classics as Edge of Sanity, Dismember, Cannibal Corpse, Bolt thrower, Six feet Under, Terrorizer or Hypocrisy. Today, barely survived two of the original (Cannibal and Terrorizer) because our compositions are the majority in the set list. At this point in the biography, our influences are quite clear, but some are like the influences of Legacy as a group (all that is speed and brutality of the late 80 onwards), the musical tastes are different in each specific component. That makes most of the time we are together (including all Zombie Crew. who are equally insane us), we are talking abaut music (metal). More specifically, criticizing music (metal) who listens either with the healthy intention of living in the ridicule. It has been all our meetings over the last ten years, specially those that have been held in the park of our village, always with Mikel..s radiocassette and litres and litres of "calimocho".-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Legacy of brutality. A group whose worst moment, its most serious crisis, suffered before being a real band, a matter as simple as deciding how we wanted to call. Even at some point, we come to scream and insult us because of our dementia. At the end, of another list with almost another hundred names, we chose "Legacy".--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Another choice we had to make, but in this case was a unanimous decision, which was the language used in the songs. From the first moment, we choose the English preference for a very simple reason: Most of the bands we have heard throughout our lives, with which we have grown, have used this language. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Finally, as important data of the band, we highlight two: first, our debut in La Cueva (Navia) July 6, 2007 with Réplica (friends and mentors), and secondly, the output of our myspace our first demo at the end of same year. Its aim is that all those who visit us have a reference to our music. Our future plans are a mini recording in a professional manner with the intention of editing and marketing it.
