lets all hope shenmue 3 does come out though my opinion is they will have to release it as a whole package with the first 2 included as only the privilged few got to play the first two titles. There is news for a announcment at this years e3 though it is far fetched this is a glimmer of hope also there is word of a wii remake of the first two games aswell. If these were released it would convert a whole new following to the series which can only spur on the third game. so cmon finish the series ryo cant be left in that cave while lan di dangles off a helicopter forever so release shenmue 3 for all us loyal fans
I think sega should sell the rights to the game, if there ar'nt any major software companies interested in buying it, why not ask for public investment?? like they do when banks go into administration and or how a football club can be bought and owned by the fans.. they should do that with shenmue!!

It is crazy, each year at the same time there is always rumor of a new Shenmue. So for the E3, will we have Shenmue 3, shenmue 1&2WII, shenmue online or nothing ????

Shenmue III must happen. Have you heard the rumors of Shenmue I and II being re-released on the Wii? I think this would be a brilliant idea as it would bring more attention to the Shenmue saga and perhaps Sega would see to finishing it.
Shenmue 2 is the greatest game, ive played it 3 times and im already on my 4th i love it. It has true meaning and wisdom with a great heartfelt story of a warriors spirit.
Quick note of interest for fans of Shenmue's soundtrack. I just saw Kung Fu Panda yesterday and the music in it reminded me of Shenmue more than once. Good stuff.

According to Gamespot the original Dreamcast classic Soul Calibur is coming out this summer on the XBox Live Arcade. If we push Microsoft and Sega hard enough maybe we could get Shenmue on there too. Combine that with the sequel on XBox Originals and MS would have a perfect counterpoint to the Wii versions, assuming those are really going to happen.
If anything related to Shenmue pops up on the Wii I'll grab that thing ASAP. It's almost been ten years and patience is running thin. Yu will be gone from the industry in due time and Shenmue will die along with his departure. I can't believe this nonsense.
Shenmue is coming to the Wii? What the hell? I doubt that is true. But if it was true, I would buy a Wii for every one of my friends, and a copy of Shenmue to go with it!
