Q: About Shenmue III then: I see that it will start from Chapter 7. Will it take place in China as well? A: Yes, Shenmue III will be in China as well. Those of you who have finished the second one know that the story will expand enormously, and we will try to incorporate many exciting elements of Chinese culture et cetera into the game.
ya you can go to xbox live.com and go to forums than they have xbox live originals and surprise surprise the most requested one with over 1 million posts is SHENMUE to be on xbox live as an original if you cant find it let me know. Ill give you the link.
Where has adventure games gone? When's the last time we've experience a truly engulfing storyline in a video game? Gaming has changed for the worst... Which is one of the reasons it's not looking good for us Shenmue fans.
I swear that bulletin about shenmue 2010 made me a little teary eyed omg a home made game is better then nothing such an epic story maybe this homemade verson will light a fire under there asses fantastic idea! Long live shenmue
if they could make metal gear 4 then they could make shenmue 3 i heard the maker of metal gear said he would no longer be making metal gear games till he saw ps3
sega needs to come back so then the maker can work on shenmue 3.
dude- i got my hands on the JP version of shenmue. so so awesome.got a lil bit more stuff then the american version. check out RETROCORE they review bunch of sega games imported from JPN. good stuff
Hi, thanks for the add. Shenmue is a highly original, inspiring and creative game and SHOULD be concluded. Sometimes things shouldn't be about money and should be about much more/ a legacy. It is a real shame,- however i still think 5-10 years down the line a follow up will be released (2014-2019 that is if i haven't commited seppuku by then!), never say never. Andrew
its sad...slowly every remaining shenmue-fan projects, sites etc die. not just the hope in the fans. the interest of them also...thats sad...look at sith site...no visitors...no comments...and in the dojo the ppl are just flaming each other...
Well, guys it's over. Yu Suzuki's gone (maybe not completely, but definitely not directing games anymore) and a Shenmue game without Suzuki's touch, is like a Sonic game without Yuji Naka and we all know how that turned out.
