Ever heard of Konrad Lorenz researching fixed action patterns and conditioning with geese and rubber boots. Well, by sheer coincidence Kratwerk was there when I opened my eyes and ears und the very first two records I bought in all my life were "Man Machine" and "Computerworld". Kraftwerk have been my gum boots and I, the musically conditioned goose, followed their every step and turn without questioning.
Even after I learned to fly, migrated to Taiwan several times in the due season, I still can't resist their call. In a musical socialization like this The Beatles came upon me like an atrocious stepmother. Today battle still rages between those two antipoles and the music your hear on this site is the sound of their respective ideas and arsenals clashing. I don't think either side can ever win.
