"Started at the keyboard world listening to the christian band called Petra. Those where the times of 1996. John Lawry keyboards (
and dancing by the way) were absolutely awesome (and still are). After that, in a service at Projeto Vida Nova de Irajá just met 2
keyboard players that would change his mind : Silas Palermo and Vagner Santos. Sarted to have classes with Vagner in 1998. After
that started to play at the local church near home. Then changing teachers: from Vagner to Rogerio Vieira ( also a great producer
and friend), then to Silas Palermo ( who just made my techiniche improve at least 100%) and then back to Vagner. In the midle of all
this just discovered Progressive Rock. First with Rick Wakeman and later wih Keith Emerson. That just changed the way of thinking
about keyboards in music. Started to play in a lot of bands ( much of then just can..t remember the names and some didn..t even
had names ...). And discovered a lot of diferent styles : reaggea, blues, jazz, latin and brazilian music in particular. Thanks to
Roger Willian went back to rock..n..roll and blues roots with his Power Band. Funny times...
Later started to play a lot of diferent music styles for the sake of money: Rush cover bands, Dream Theater cover band ( not just
for the money), pagode bands ( a very popular rhythm in Brazil), and even on some axé bands ( another popular rhythm in Brazil).
Tired of all this just met Fernando Merlino ( an awesome piano player who played with the likes of Roberto Menescal) that despite
not being his teacher just made some serious and important advices about music carrer. In the same oportunity just met Martinho
da Vila ( brazilian singer and composer) and Rildo Hora ( very important producer) in the studio. After that just started to work in
studios as session musician recording at least 40 albums that year ( maybe in 2004-2005). In that period sarted to play with a lot of
instrumental gigs some of them where of jazz, some funk, some rock and some the whole thing together..."
