I grew up everywhere, literally. I Long Island NY, West Germany, Columbus and Atlanta Georgia, a brief stay in Virginia Beach, VA before I ended up in Topeka KS which I call home to this day. Used to think writing poetry and stuff like that was gay until I turned 17 years of age. Though he may not remember Topeka native "Mankind" told me one day in the hallway my senior year that I listen to so much music all the time, I should be rapping....and I took his advice. Came up wit Topeka's own "LowKey" and his crew my first few years out of high school just writing trying to find my place, but soon creative differences lead me to fuck wit cats in Lawrence Ks, home of the Jayhawkers. Can't really get into the Lawrence experience, but it was wild. Out of respect to those involved I'll just end it there. But on the music side they got me recording and learning to write to beats. Two best friends of mine (M.D.)Gary Jackson and Stuart Franklin(R.I.P.) who later put a gun to his head and ended his own shit got me heavily into poetry and further crafted my writing style, thanks guys. I'd taken time off from writing songs and just wrote alot of poetry during this time, maybe a year or so. Things went full circle and I manage to hook up with the ever popular "StikFiga" though we've always had close ties since 2001. We hooked up brought back the O's crew and then scooped up LoveJones and started recording again. Of course that was in '05, and we've done alot of bullshitting since then. In '06 I ran my Suzuki GSXR750 into a suburban trying to slow down from 138mph, hit the damn thing anyway, slid down a road, and got to spend time to reflect about the way i've lived my life, and how i'm gonna go foward in it. Now '07 wasn't that live really, but THESE LAST SIX MONTHS HAVE BEEN FIRE. I'm a deep dude it's a gift and a curse, but fuckit I'm here right. Enjoy.
