¿De Dónde sale LEYENDA?
LEYENDA surge del intercambio de ideas musicales de tres de sus miembros fundadores, David, Fernando y Antonio, que con constancia, perseverancia y el paso del tiempo dieron forma a una banda con estilo propio y buena acogida en medios. El trabajo y la lucha por dar a conocer a la banda siempre han sido las notas predominantes y como reconocimiento han dado a LEYENDA la oportunidad de subir en multitud de ocasiones a los escenarios musicales más característicos de Madrid. LEYENDA ha conseguido llegar también fuera del territorio nacional, recibiendo buenas críticas por parte de medios en otros países.
¿Cuándo se forma LEYENDA?
Los miembros fundadores de LEYENDA se conocieron en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid cuando estudiaban Físicas. Juntaron sus influencias musicales para crear en septiembre de 1995 un grupo llamado Infernal que con los años evolucionaría a LEYENDA. De la formación original quedaron David y Antonio, pero eso ya es otra historia...
¿Qué hace LEYENDA?
La diversidad de ideas musicales forman una extensa variedad de temas tanto lentos como potentes y rápidos, caracterizados por estribillos pegadizos y buenas melodías, pasando por todo tipo de influencias heavys tanto ochenteras clásicas como modernas. Las letras, en su mayoría trabajadas por el vocalista y guitarra Antonio S. Montemayor, pretenden contar historias de libre interpretación, aunque inicialmente basadas en algún hecho o reflexión.
¿Quiénes son LEYENDA?
Actualmente LEYENDA está formada por Alfonso Casasayas Marín a la batería, Luis Ángel Andrade Lazo a las guitarras rítmicas y solistas, David Ramos Fernández al bajo y Antonio S. Montemayor a la voz y guitarras rítmicas.
¿Cuál es la situación actual de LEYENDA?
Después de una intensa y continua preparación, LEYENDA obtiene el interés de la compañía discográfica PIES, quien firma contrato con la banda. En Febrero de 2005 sale a la venta el primer disco de LEYENDA, Quintaesencia, grabado en los estudios de PIES bajo la supervisión de y aportación de su productor, Manolo Arias (ex-Niagara y actual guitarrista de Ñu y Atlas entre otros). A finales de 2006 LEYENDA cambia de compañía discográfica pasando a firmar con Akeloo Records. En marzo 2007 se lanzó "A Medianoche", su segundo trabajo discográfico, nuevamente producido por V.M.Arias y masterizado en los renombrados Finnvox Studios de Helsinki (Finlandia) por Mika Jussila.

LEYENDA arises from the exchange of musical ideas of three of its founding members, David, Fernando and Antonio. Work and constant fight to promote the band have been always predominant notes and they have given to LEYENDA the opportunity to ascend many times to the most characteristic metal scene in Spain.
When is LEYENDA formed?
The founders of LEYENDA were met in the the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid while studying Physics. They joined their musical influences to create, in September 1995, a band called Infernal that would evolve to LEYENDA with the years. Ayer era el día mi concierto anual, por el que no solo no recibo ni un euro, si no que me cuesta dinero y solo pude tocar 3 canciones y media, el dueño del chiringuito dio por finaliza el concierto por hacer caso a media docena de borrachos y poder seguir haciendo caja poniendo el música a todo volumen. Si andas por aca , pues , la verdad esta dificil conseguir fechas aca , incluso para las bandas de aca, esta dificil ,ya sabes como esta la economia , lo q puedo hacer es presentarte algunas personas , pero , igual , es gente q no da un paso sin obtener nada, no se si me comprendas ,,.
