My interests are hikeing, kayaking, gardening, handmade stained glass, and really bizare coffee mugs.(I have filled two cabinets in my kitchen with em).
Music
The Grateful Dead. I also like other jam bands Widespread Panic, Phish, The Allman Brothers, and String Cheese Incident to name a few. Plus Blues, Jazz, Rock, and Classical.
Movies
Citizen Kane, Borat(the funniest movie ever made), Most of the Godzilla Films, B-movies from the 50's and 60's, and really bad action flicks, such as Posidon (ok the orginal is better, but the remake is hysterical!). Any film by Martin Scorcese, one of the greatest movie directors of all time!
Television
Desperate Housewives, The Sopranos, The Daily Show, and the Colbert Report.
Books
Mystery's, Historical Biographys, History, Current Events, Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt Books(my guilty pleasure), and any book by Allen Steele.
About me: Hi, I'm Linda Steele, and here's a bit about me.
I was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. Now, the question every St. Louisan asks is what High School did you go to? Well, I'll tell ya. Whitfield School.
I am a diehard St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan. My favorite past Cardinal players are Lou Brock, Bob Gibson, Ozzie Smith, Enos Slaughter and of course Stan "The Man" Musial. A few current players who will be in Hall of Fame some day, Albert Pujos, and Yader Molina(one of the best defensive Catchers around)
I'm married to a really cool guy by the name of Allen Steele. Allen is a Hugo award winning Science Fiction writer. Check out his most recent books Coyote, Coyote Rising, Coyote Frontier, and his newest one Spindrift. All are available at amazon.com, or at your local bookstores, and the big boys B&N, and Borders.
I have been working in the radio business for over 20 years, and am the midday jock and production manager at WKVT-FM in Brattleboro,VT.
