In 1994, four high school friends, who shared an equal passion for music, decided to take matters into their own hands and create something that had never been conceived, let alone tolerated, in their hometwon of Parkersburg, West Virginia. After their first public appearance in May 1995, LOADED quickly commanded the respect of their contemporaries by displaying exceptional skills, talent, and uncompromising vision.
In Novemeber 1998, after a year of resovle, original band members Ian and Eric formed LIECUS immediately setting out to map their course with many demos and albums including "Destroy All Nonbelievers" (demo), a sefl titiled EP, "What Have They Come For" (full length), "Hypocrite" (EP)
In 2006 Liecus made a few changes to the lineup and released "Distinctive Design" (EP) With the album pressed Liecus toured for a few years playing the Rock N Roll Hall of fame, and opening for National acts in thier home state. In 2008 Liecus again made more crucial changes to the lineup and released thier latest CD "NEW DAY"
Crossing over onto a new beginning of creative infinites, fusing all influences into one solid mass of power and energy, this is the new LIECUS; overcoming adversity while maintaining a strong focus on what is real and true, the music.
Glad to see the forefathers of WV metal are still at it. Keep the scene going for those of us who can't. We are looking in admiration at you from the retirement home. Happy to see Joe Bailey shredding on guitar again as well. His talent knows no bounds...
I'm counting down the days to the CD bros, I can't fucking wait, I know it's gonna seriously rock. You've got yourselves a nice loyal fanbase growing over here in NC. Can't wait 'til I can see ya in person, I'm thinking I might have to go vacation in Virginia so I can catch a few shows. Keep it Loud, and Heavy!
I just thought you guys should know how kickass you sound when you play!! Robb...I love you no matter what you sound like!(but you know 8-10)lol Eric...you look so into the music when you play on stage, you have so much talent. Joe I cant get enough of your solo's. Love them!!! Mark... Your just amazing at the drums! haha Jerry I missed you at the show. I always love to hear you guys play.
finally u put that awesome song circus--love it!!!! cant wait 2 c u all at sixpence-r u all really playing at my native home jp's? hope so. u all sound spectacular--keep it up boys, u all r fabulous--tara
The new songs sound really good. They all have that nice power groove to them, kind of reminds me of old school 7dust the way the energy of the guitars and vocals are blended. And it is good to hear Mark showcasing his skills and complimenting Eric's riffs and vice versa. Man oh man has Liecus changed. Not that that is a bad thing as you guys have definitely taken a big step forward and polished your craft precisely in order to let it carry you guys to new heights. But I got to admit, Bloodquest will always be my favorite Liecus song...but maybe I'm a bit biased! :)
hey guys. I love your music. Mr. Yost and I would play guitar around his room and he would be like "That sounds like Liecus" I cant wait to buy your CD. Thanks for the add
So I've heard rumors that you guys might be trying to tour in NC. Well, if you do, you can be sure you're gonna see me and several of my friends lineing up for front row seats. Keep rocking bros.
