For centuries the Church was a pioneer and leader in the arts. Music, architecture, scuplture, painting, each was a medium used for the expression of our faith. Art in our Church became a testament to our Lord and witness to His wondrous gifts.
Our goal is to equip young people with the means for reclamin the arts and media and once again using them for Christian faith expression and evangeliztation. Hand in hand with this mission is belief that our youth deserve a meaningful vocie in worship today.
Our world is rapidly changing place and young people need a place where they can express how their Christian faith relates in these uncertian and chaotic times. The example of our Lord is as relevant today as it was two thousad years ago. This good news still needs to be told, but many of our young people are not hearing it. A rapid paced and shallow consumer society with secular media propagated ideals, this is waht our younger generations are express to everyday.
Imagine a place where we come to learn how to you are gifts in the service of our Lord, a place we can worship with each other, sharing the struggles and triumphs of our faiths in away that is both meaningful and relevant to them . What would it take to allow young people to give of themselves and their takents to a church of their peers?
