Amoureux de la musique jamaïcaine et du reggae en général depuis le milieu des années 90, le Lightning Sound se crée en 2000 dans la région de STRASBOURG.
Composé à la base de 4 membres, Big Fred et Saiman les sélecteurs, Loyal D à l'animation et le chanteur ABDI qui illumine les massives de par sa voie de cristal et ses envolées vocales. La famille accueille un nouveau membre : Dada Will ..qui apporte son support au collectif .
Le crew joue dans tous les styles (du ska au yardcore) son but étant de partager et d'échanger au maximum avec le public en place, et de proposer un réel show avec du mix, de l'animation, mais aussi du live grâce à son chanteur ABDI. Depuis 8 ans Lightning Sound n'a cessé d'être actif, de la Belgique à l'Espagne en passant par l'Allemagne ou la Suisse, de Lille à Bayonne en passant par Nancy ou Tarbes, le Sound a multiplié les soirées, festivals, meetings etc. ... en partageant la scène à coté des plus grand Sound Systems nationaux (KING DRAGON, IRIE CREW , SOUL STEREO, SHADOW KILLA ...) et dans beaucoup d'occasions d'artistes de tous horizons (LUCIANO, JR KELLY, KING KONG, GENERAL LEVY...) Lightning Sound c'est aussi une émission de radio "FREQUENCE REGGAE" tous les jeudi de 18 à 19h30 sur RBS 91.9 Fm ou en stream sur

lors de laquelle une nouvelle thématique (label, artiste, genre, live etc.) est proposée chaque semaine.
Enfin, Lightning Sound développe et accompagne la carrière de son chanteur ABDI en plus des diverses productions auxquelles il a participé.
Un Sound 100% Vibes qui développe au maximum les échanges entres sounds, artistes, studios, promoteurs, et bien sur les MASSIVES !!!
Jamaican music lovers and reggae in general since the middle of the nineties, Lightning Sound has been created in 2000 in the region of STRASBOURG. Composed at the beginning of 4 members, Big Fred and Saiman selectors, Loyal D in animation and singer ABDI who illuminates the massive all over with his crystal voice and its vocal flights of fancy. The family receives a new member: Dada Will who brings his support to the collective. The crew plays in all styles (from the ska to the yardcore)
Its purpose is to share and to exchange good vibes with the public in the dance, and to offer a real show with the mix, with animation, but also with the live performance: thanks to his singer ABDI.
Lightning Sound was active for 8 years, from Belgium to Spain passing by Germany or Switzerland, from Lille to Bayonne by way of Nancy or Tarbes, the Sound has multiplied parties, festivals, meetings and shared the stage with famous Sounds Systems (KING DRAGON, IRIE CREW , SOUL STEREO, SHADOW KILLA ...) and did work with differents artists (LUCIANO, JR KELLY, KING KONG, GENERAL LEVY...)
