"The theatrics and power of Muse mixed with the New York flavor of bands like the Bravery." -Rolling Stone
"It’s really about time a threesome, besides Muse, could grace the scene with some power-while still being original. Luckily, Long Island’s Lights Resolve is getting some attention, thanks to their hard work, great music, and recent tour with The Used and Straylight Run." -coedmagazine.com
"The trio's sound on their two self-released records is diverse -- as much U2 as the Used. Their latest track, "Dreaming of Love," mixes emo lyrics ("I've been dreaming of love / where did you go") with soaring guitars and punk urgency." -Spin Magazine
"Lights Resolve manage to capture the sound of classic rock and with their own twist create something new and exciting to complete the frustrated music fan. They are living proof that musicians can still be creative and original in a current pool of similiarity." -DJ Rossstar's Punk Rock Show, Idobi Radio
"Whether it's about the music or about the musicians, one thing is for sure- Lights Resolve has managed to use the influence of music of the past to create what could be used to influence the music of the future..." -theywillrockyou.com
"Their sing-along worthy choruses earned a great reception from the crowd."
-Tastemakers Magazine
"With Neal Saini on drums, Matthew Reich on vocals, guitar and keys and Sherman on bass, vocals and keys, Lights Resolve has no shortage of interesting characters. The band incorporates punchy dance rhythms and syncopation to shake concert wallflowers to the stage front."
-Northeastern News
Lights Resolve is a 3-piece alternative rock band from New York. As an experience-oriented group, the band delivers a sonically diverse and cinematic performance.
After touring Asia as a former band and touring clubs to arenas throughout the US with their current ensemble, Lights Resolve has perked the ears of fans and industry alike. As an unsigned artist, Lights Resolve has played shows and toured with multi-platinum recording artists such as The Used, Panic at the Disco, Shiny Toy Guns, Dashboard Confessional, Phantom Planet and Straylight Run just to name a few.
Lights Resolve have solidified choice market radio play, been featured in multiple major print and digital publications, including a 3 page spread in the New York Post, placed "Another Five Days" on Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Island, been the focal point of an extended MTV2 campaign having their own dedicated "On Demand" special on NYC's Time Warner On Demand, have played TV performances on national and international syndicated networks and has sold nearly 10,000 copies of two self-released EP’s, Prelude and Currency.
The sound of Lights Resolve has been said to emulate the volume and size of stadium rock, while still focusing on the details of ambient and progressive music. Live programmed loops, engaging choruses, detailed instrumentals and original effects all add to the resonance of a Lights Resolve performance. Drawing influence from bands like The Who, Muse and Sigur Ros, Lights Resolve is able to fuse musical genres to create an alternative pop band that satisfies both the die-hard rocker and the young pop fanatic. Their live show is an artfully driven visual and auditory experience - built up of synergistic instrumental arrangements and honest lyrics that flow beautifully from one song to the next.
Currently the group is focusing on writing new material, developing their live show on the road and getting heard. Being a part of drastically changing industry, Lights Resolve is eager to deconstruct the stigmas and reassemble a new level of performance art in such a thin spectrum.
