I have three talented musicians with me live. My mother call them the spiders since they're all "spinkiga popsnören i tajta Cheap Monday jeans". In proper english: men who are boys, wearing tight clothes. My lovely and very good looking spiders are:

My name is Lisa. I was born 1981 and grew up in a small town on the Swedish westcoast. When I was seven years old I started going to church. Not because of my faith in God but everybody seemed so nice and warm in this gigantic room. And the old ladies had a strong smell of perfume and made delicious cookies to eat after the service. After a while I quit going to church and the older I got the more doubts I had about who God really was. But I realized the meaning of finding things in life that make you feel good. And there it was, music. Like God himself, Burt Reynolds, Super Mario Bros, Patrick Swayze, Janne "Loffe" Karlsson, Olof Palme or who you prefer to call God. Ever since, I've been singing and writing songs, playing the drums and annoyed and amused neighbours and family members.
Last new years eve I spent the evening with my dear friends Martin Molin and Einar Stavfeldt. As usual we kept ourselves busy talking about our more or less existing lovelife, how to conquer the world with great music and the fact that a good view of the Gothenburg harbour and a good Mojito probably is the best way to end a year and to start another. But another hot topic was on the menu that freezing cold December night: my album. There is something with me and age that just doesn..t seem to go very well. When I was twelve I thought I was too old to learn how to play the guitar and when I was twentytwo I was convinced that I had to spend the rest of my days working at Torggrillen (fastfoodplace in my hometown Varberg) , since I didn’t know what to do with myself. I knew I was going to die with a sausage hanging out of my mouth. What have this to do with my album? Well, somewhere between the fifth Mojito and the fireworks I made a promise to my friends. I promised to record an album. To not be bitter because of my fear of being just a little too old to do this or that.
I knew I didn’t want to produce the album all on my own and it took me some time to find my partner in crime. Now I have. Ulf Dernevik is a brilliant musician, songwriter and producer from Gothenburg. The studio we work in is called Anfallszonen and is placed in the heart of Gothenburg, Järntorget. When I’m in the studio recording I picture people listening to the songs and they say: “Oh, that’s a very Järntorgetischy sound. Very good.” I don’t know and it really doesn’t matter. What matters is me giving my fears a hard time and to just do without thinking too much. Do music that will make people either dance, laugh, cry, scream or think about a time when they knew they were going to die with a sausage hanging out of their mouth. And I wanna have a good time while I’m doing it.
So, here it is, three new recordings and a taste of what’s coming. “Left aside” and “Come on!” are recorded at Anfallszonen. “Five to one” is recorded in my apartement, a late and cold Januarynight one year after Mojitos with the best of friends.
