Oh man. Great visit or greatest visit? Love the set you guys pulled tonight. Always a pleasure to share the stage with you. Decorative bolos and all. Drive safe. Love, -w
Hey Dan, what's up. I finally joined this century and got a music page. I wish you guys major success, and with that comes large venues. But we all know those small shows are some amazing experiences. I'm glad to see you guys doing well, doing what you love. Peace.
hey man, i just wanted to give a bigup to you. my brother introduced me to "the train song" years ago. i had been in orlando the night before and i was walking back to a friends house after a night on the town with some friends. along the way a black lady (only relevant in the sense of my friends reactions)drove up, hysterically crying asking for money. as i sat there and listened to her story of her father falling ill and dying in the hospital earlier in the day, and how she had spent all her money to get from the coast to the hospital in orlando, my friends (including a girl i was trying to woo) were telling me to come on. i couldn't just leave this woman in her despair, so despite my friends pleas, i hopped in the ladies van, drove with her to the store, gave her money for gas and food, and she drove me to my friends house. i was upset the next day and was telling my brother the story, and he played your song for me, and it comforted me. i have always appreciated that. so thank you.
That was the illest show of alltime!! I could really feel where you all were coming from with your music. Thank you for allowing us a chance to experience such a beautiful sound. May god bless you on your travels.
Nice bird wing. How was SXSW? You know I'm always waiting for you to come back to Tennessee. Hope things are going well for you. Wal-Mart is sucking my soul, teaching me lessons, showing me my soul, realigning priorities. Good times. Nothing like a good day's work, training for the days of work to come. It's very easy to let go of God when things aren't going your way. Please pray for me and my folks in Clarksville and Nashville. Check out the new c4 and pbK tracks, they're the next bin (more appropo slang for a grocery stocker)!
