About Little Maggie

Bob and I are back to our roots as a duo from our days as The Spifflicators and New Standard Rain, now supercharged and slightly crazed with new vocal and instrumental chops from all the good stuff we've learned since NSR days way back when. 3 Part Hominy grew and flowered (thanks to good folks like you all who listened to us) and faded out, leaving the seeds that are growing into Bob's and my new duo, "Little Maggie." We had a great time as 3PH, so we expect to have as much or even more fun as Little Maggie, sometimes turbocharged by the addition of Jesse Pena on guitar and mando. Check out Jim Hurst's covers of Bob's songs on Jim's solo CD, "Box of Chocolates" at www.jimhurst.com. It's a kick-ass CD for its guitar wizardry and warm vocals; plus, Jim has great taste in songs.
