Myspace Layouts I always wanted to be a performer. My family and friends thought that I would make a great singer or dancer. As it turns out, they were not surprised when I started singing and performing for a living. I love to soak in a Jacuzzi full of bubbles while sipping on champagne and listening to music. This is the way to relax. Just don't fall asleep....LOL! In my life I have done too many wild things to mention. Who knows maybe when I get older I may write a book that will reveal the true Liz Torres. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have my recorder handy a note pad, and pen ready. I tend to write just to be able to deal with the day-to-day life experiences I may encounter. I write according to how I feel and what the music brings out of me. Sometimes hidden thoughts, fantasy, anger, passion or forgiveness can be a way out when reality hits you hard. I also love to play with words. I can't get enough!!!! When I was a child my grandma would read poems and sing to me. My mother loved to sing in church. My dad is a Preacher who can still make me feel like daddy's little girl. The whole family would gather together and do something similar to the "Gong Show" and that was great! God who has blessed me always with this voice, my family, friends, husband who totally understands me, best friend and sister, all the fans, children and people who have touched my life they our my hero's... I didn't want to brag but I am my own hero because if I would have given up a long time ago I would not be here today. So yes I believe in myself and I am more because of this..... The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Grandma Sofia and Titi Isabilita, because both passed away and there was so much I still wanted to say... I want to admit that I have difficulty staying away from sweets especially chocolate. This is one of my weaknesses... If I could improve my home, I'd remodel everything and add on music studio and garden. My dream home would be where friends and family can gather and have the best of times. If I won $100 million, I'd give some to my family and some of it to charity, then spend the rest on a new home and additional homes for my parents and family, I would go a trip around the world and have the ultimate wedding of my dreams where I could invite all my family and friends.. But the disc's most impressive offering is the driving "If You Keep It Up," which draws on LaBelle's 1975 classic "Messin' With My Mind."
