LJ Kruzer is London's own Steve Fiske. In the last couple of years the Kruzer has carved out a peculiar niche for himself with a raft of beautiful releases to his name, including his critically acclaimed debut album This Is How I Write, a number of singles for Uncharted Audio and appearances on highly sought-after releases on Seed and Ai Records.
LJ's dad, a vicar, used a home keyboard to accompany the hymn-singing in church and it was this same keyboard that LJ used to begin writing his own brand of melancholy ambience many years ago.
Occasionally unsettling, often beautiful, but always engaging, LJ Kruzer is a unique voice in British electronic music.

New album out soon on the Big Chill Recordings..more to follow
Well, I've currently got enough new material for two thirds of an album, so hopefully in a couple of months' time it will be complete...then maybe another couple of months for whatever goes on when artists finish albums and I guess we're looking at Autumn 2008 for Album Two.

I am shocked that we were not already 'friends'. Your music is the stuff that I would like to be making myself if I had any abilities in this area. Come and play in Nottingham again soon please, and make more albums!

The Chap http://www.myspace.com/thechap “Like Underworld if they’d decided to be a lo-fi rock and roll combo instead of a stadium-selling dance act. Stunning, it’s ridiculous, but in a great way.” Vice Mag
The Guillotines http://www.myspace.com/headswillrockandroll “Snarling spunk-punkers The Guillotines come across like Gallows meeting the Rat Pack, with a flame-haired Lauren Bacall wielding a bass, outside a Brighton S&M shop psyching themselves up to buy leather gimp masks. Wanton sax appeal, voodoo rock'n'roll magnetism and growling dirty lounge” NME
Creepy Morons http://www.myspace.com/thecreepymorons “The thunderous blues crunch of The Creepy Morons first materialised in 2005 having risen from the ashes of Hot Tradition and The Beatings. I know its rubbish when I merely regurgitate information from a myspace, but when a band describes its influences as ‘Women, Drinking and Death’, and their sound as ‘Drunken monkeys assembling an Ikea butchers block’, I’d be daft not to.” Jon Hillcock, XFM

Just to say I have just uploaded a remix I did for Caitlyn Hessell, it will come out when her EP is released on Summer Rain Recordings in about a month or so.
You can hear it on my profile titled "Always There"and the original is over on Caitlyn's profile.
My EP is out on the 19th and I am very excited about that.
