We are five kids who like to make noise that swirls around like a kaleidoscope spewing out angular disco colours and rhythmical patterns. We love to jitter on stage and lose ourselves. we like it best when YOU dance. We are on Vacuous pop who we love, our ep is imminent, purple vinyl anyone? We love to have fun and meet new people, come say hello! We have collective loves for these things : dinosaurs, jurassic park, cats, unicorns, alcohol spray, asthma, football, megadrive, disco dancing, drawing, polaroids and making fools of ourselves at inappropriate moments. we also have an eclectic sense of fashion and haircuts, including odd shoes/socks and a drummer who is addicted to hairspray?weird!
this year we've been lucky enough to play at great festivals like truck,offset, the great escape and boring by the sea!and we've toured the entire length of this fine country sharing stages with great bands such as soso modern, hot club de paris, future of the left, these new puritans, ex models, kasms, damn arms, meet me in st.louis, the death set, die!die!die! and loads more!
come dance with us!

" ..... Young Pretenders is built around a vocal hook large enough to pierce the stratosphere, as scratchy guitars, clubbed synths, and wide-eyed glockenspiels do their best to wreak bloody math-pop mayhem, while b-side, The Boy Who, threatens to upstage Young Pretenders with clever, and utterly f~~~ing addictive guitar lines ..... " JAMIE HARPER

'Load.Click.Shoot! knifed the evening in the back by racing out of the start gates, all unexpectedly, in a fit of spazzztic rage, racing their guitars really fast, shouting at each other from three different directions, doing backflips in the form of fast forwarded melodies, and star jumps in broken disco beats. Its pop, but not as we know it. Its new wave like we didnt expect it. Its a bundle of fun rolled into one and thrown onto a pulsating dancefloor. /////////////////////////////POWERPOP! MAGAZINE................................................
"like a disco volcano, projecting highly flammable and devastating molten synth-rock lava..."
"A fearsome beast, this quartet's career is shrieking and yelping along like a possessed banshee with a tumbling rhythm section that screams at every twist and turn and is saddled by some blissfully sharp guitar and keyboard grooves. They are the bastard love child of Test Icicles and The Blood Brothers" ///////////////////////ARTROCKER MAGAZINE....................................................................
"Arguably the most exciting group to spring out of devon in recent years, Load.Click.Shoot! deserve your full and immediate attention. The explosive indie-punk, disco-rock cocktail that screams out of the speakers when listening to this band's demo is so addictive and downright thrilling, they should have labels falling over themselves to sign them. Listen, watch and learn, this band will rule the world, or at least your heart!" ///////////////////////THE FLY....................................................
"A tight mix of Q and Not U-style post-hardcore and electro synths, the bands performance was the strongest of the night, and one of the most impressive shows I’ve seen in a long time. Put these guys at the Brudenell on a Saturday night and they’d receive the audience they deserve."

SINGLE OF THE MONTH
"... thrilling energy-driven disco popping indie punk rocking sound... Great band, infectious 7", fab artwork... what more can you ask for?
/////////GO2 MAGAZINE MARCH 2009
"the brilliant Load.Click.Shoot! put on a blisteringly energetic synthtastic performance ..... a pleasant suprise".
///////////////////////ADE CURCHER (www.blogger.com)..................
And we move quickly on to tonight's headliners Load.Click.Shoot, bringing with them a stunning lightshow that could possibly put the Hacienda in it's heyday to shame, shaking the room like Test Icicles pissing over Klaxons' Atlantis To Interzone as Foals jealously watch on, music so A.D.D. suffering it's hard to conceive of it being created in sleepy Barnstaple town, an absolute synth, keyboard and spiky guitar fest, taking the night to it's all too soon climax
/////////INDEPENDENT REVIEW OF GENERATOR 3
To say that Load.Click.Shoot are "quite good" live is to say that George W. Bush is just "a bit of" a twat. Five tartrazine-fuelled shards of powdered glass exploded in a fit of audio dynamite; a mercifully lemon-sharp contrast to the current wave of dusty guitar bores that flood our stages.
LCS are that curiously rare thing - a group in which each member operates within their own space, yet fit together perfectly. Not so much a completed jigsaw as a mosaic glued together by a mandman to depict Metal Mickey masturbating inside a revolving drum. Inexplicably donning duck masks for their final performance, Load.Click.Shoot spazzed out jagged electro-bellow to jaw-shattering effect. Abso-fucking-lutely brilliant. And they played X-Ray Spex, which I love in an almost creepy way.

‘….. a wilful (though admittedly wonderful) example of a band with a total disregard for structure, time signatures or form, there are things going on here with guitars that we suspect are outlawed in certain territories…..’

The debut tape for Fair Ohs has 7 songs of their noisey garage punk meets Minutemen with the occasional psych noise jam. There are on 50 tapes, on a mix of purple, blue and lilac colours, all wrapped up in hand spun, hand stiched felt covers, pretty special!
