LOCKJAW is bringing "Hell Rock" to the masses. Dirty music for a dirty world with an in your face approach that will leave you begging for more. A sound inspired by bands from Motley Crue and Metallica to Nine Inch Nails, Tricky and Skinny Puppy. Machine gun-like electronics, dark chord progressions and filthy vocals define LOCKJAW's sound. The first LOCKJAW release was the 1998 trip hop inspired album called "Looking Like A Devil". A solo effort from the front man to be and a slight departure from the heavier trends at the time. The album became very popular in strip clubs throughout the Midwest and with porn stars alike including Jenna Jameson. Since 2002 LOCKJAW has been playing live and has had a helter skelter of members. Led by MEDAVON on vocals, lead guitars, synths and programming. The current lineup is filled by Johnny Diaz on drums, Jose Ramirez on lead guitars, Baldii on rhythm guitars and Miah Hendricks on bass. LOCKJAW has shared the stage with the likes of Mudvayne, Type O Negative, Damage Plan, Wednesday 13, Hell Yeah, Prong, Powerman 5000, KMFDM and multiple 4000+ shows with MARILYN MANSON. LOCKJAW's "Bored Again" from the CD "Dirty Minds and Smiling Faces"(2004) can be found on the X-Box360 game "Dead Rising" along with the soundtrack that was exclusively released in Japan. LOCKJAW has independently released 6 albums on Dark Drug Records, including the current 2009 release "The soundtrack to the end". Along with the latest video "The Sheep"(produced by Brian Dell), LOCKJAW has defined themselves as "HELL ROCK" and as the leaders of this musical revolution. An over-the-edge stage show filled with all the necessary elements of sweat, smoke and unrelenting honesty adds to the live intensity of this band and keeps its loyal following coming back for more. If you need a new fix then LOCKJAW is your drug.
Thanks, bro. That really means a lot coming from a more experienced musician of higher status such as yourself. It would be an honor to share the stage with you guys in the near future. Joel

Hehe nothing to exciting happened here this weekend. I relaxed mostly, visited with my fiance's sister and had a couple drinks, went shopping out of town and today I plan on sleeping all day long. I'm pretty tired from work last night. Oh wow I didn't know that he was still touring. I'm sure it was pretty awesome. I can't wait for Sean's "White Zombie" book that she's been working on. I love that woman and can't wait to hear tales of the road and see the goofy pictures she provides. I hope that your week is a good one!!!.
